Aison Bakery & Coffee @ Ampang — Restaurant in Ampang Jaya Municipal Council

I had lunch at Aison Bakery Ampang and was warmly welcomed by their friendly staff. The café has a pleasant and cozy vibe, tucked away from the busy Ampang Point area, making it an inviting spot to relax.

I ordered the Japanese Curry with Chicken Karaage, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. The curry was too soupy and overly spicy, overpowering the flavor of the karaage. I couldn’t finish the dish — 1/5.

Next, I tried the Lemon Earl Grey Cake, which I was excited about. Sadly, it was too buttery, and the earl grey flavor was barely noticeable. I was hoping for a refreshing citrus-herbal balance, but it missed the mark — 1/5.

The redeeming part of my visit was the Iced Caramel Latte with Fresh Milk: it was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and had a satisfying caffeine kick — 5/5!

While the food fell short this time, I truly appreciate the warm service and the cozy ambiance. I hope the kitchen takes feedback into consideration, as this café has great potential thanks to its wonderful staff and...

An overall 2-star rating for the unreliability of opening time. Within this one week or so, I arrived at about 8.30 a.m. and 9 a.m. just to find that it's still closed when the opening time is stated as 8 a.m. As a matter of fact, within this one and a half weeks, there have been two occasions when the place was still closed even after the opening time.

This cafe used to be very well managed during the time when there were another staff (males). As for the coffee, it really depends on who prepares it for you. If you're lucky you'll have it nice and if otherwise, it's really not...

i visited here last friday with my friends, and we were warmly welcomed by the staffs and i think one of them might've been the manager! they were so kind and attentive to us, even though we're just high school students.. the ambiance of this cafe is absolutely lovely.. it's giving the cozy vibes and it genuinely felt like a second home! yall seriously must give the flat croissants a try.. they are super crunchy and undeniably delicious! my friends also tried their coffee (i don't remember which) but they said it tastes good too! fly high, Aison Bakery! we'll definitely...
