It was my first time here & this is based on my first impressions & what I like about this cafe: ✅Love the ambiance & decoration of this restaurant plus they also have the comic section for you to read while waiting. ✅The portion of the food was just nice. Not too big nor small. Been to many Korean Restaurant, but the menu here seem to offer more menu that you don’t usually see outside such as Selungtang Noodles. ✅They provide FREE flow of drinking water. You can self service & refill it. ✅Their toilet are sparkling clean & the toilet paper are thick & high quality (toilet is another place that I will look at & they really took care of it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻) ✅The music is not too loud & the selection of music is just nice for the setting. They are using the Marshall speaker which the sounds are well balance. Not too high of treble or bass.
However, as for the meals, 3/4 of our order are salty. We ordered 4 meals.
1️⃣ Seluntang Noodle The soup is light and plain where you have to add on salt and pepper based on your liking. The noodle is like mee suah If you want to enjoy healthy and light food, this could be a good option.
2️⃣ Beancurd Kimchi Soup The beancurd in the soup taste nice The kimchi is not sour enough but the texture is there The soup is salty The soup is not spicy enough
3️⃣ Korean Chicken Rice The gravy is so salty The portion is big
4️⃣ Kimchi pancake Very very very oily!!! I can’t taste the kimchi as it is overpowering by the oil I got headache after finishing this pancake Not recommended menu for those who don’t like oily food. It taste...
Read moreI can be quite picky when it comes to korean food as I will accept nothing but awesomeness but this restaurant really lived up to my expectation!!! I booked a seat for two yesterday and the staff handled and accomodated my booking very professionally even though he sounded quite busy; which I really appreciate:) and then since we are coming for iftar and the roads are super jammed we ordered our menu via phone which they also happily accommodated (again) and up to this point I am just really grateful for their kindness to cater for us and I am willing to accept any food tho' no expectations at all since I am super tired from all the driving and hungry too :") but wow, the sundubu jjigae was AWESOME!! I almost teared up from the deliciousness ! Its like a warm hug from a Korean mother that you never had :'((((((( and the drinks are superb and the fried chicken were made to a finesse ! Buy what that touched me most was the vibe inside the restaurant:) its homey, full of warmth and kindness :) the owners are so polite and friendly (and the lady at the counter in glasses are so pretty too!) Of course i'll pay a visit again:) Preferably on a 비(rainy) day and be ordering myself a bowl of warm motherly Korean hug (aka sundubu jjigae) again! Take care and may u...
Read moreWent there mid February after work around 8.30pm. There wasn't much of a crowd at first (only one table was occupied right at the innermost corner). We got a table just beside the counter. But in mere minutes, the restaurant was full until the end even though when we left it was quite close to closing time.
The ambience/atmosphere is awesome. You'll get an authentic Korean-restaurant-feel as the interior and even the staffs there are very warm and friendly. The only downside for me was that because the interior makes you feel like you're in an actual Korean restaurant in Korea, you'll find a lot of people taking pics/videos and talking loudly in excitement. The food was delicious and quite filling. It didn't feel oily or heavy despite both of our meal had rice in them. We even had seafood Korean pancake at the end - it was too appetising that I forgot to take a picture and only remembered after we gorged half of...
