This is my childhood restaurant. Trying this place out again after so long and finally using my own money. I never knew how much it cost before so this is my review: Food ate: Cozy hainan chicken chop. Pros: 1) The food portion is okay. 2) The food taste wise is okay but see my cons below. 3) Their service is also good. If you call them they immediately come and serve you with good etiquette. Cons: 1) The price is expensive. Usually I don’t complaint about price if the food is good but the food taste don’t compliment the price? I don’t feel satisfied when leaving the restaurant. 2) The food presentation is not okay. 3) I don’t feel comfortable eating here. Prolly because where I’m seated. I feel like I’m eating in a storage room with all that box put in-front of me. It is true that they said. Don’t watch your childhood movies. It’ll probably be bad haha. Who would’ve thought it applies to a food place too :( Total Rating from me is 2.8/5. Bonus Cons: I tried the kungfu noodle as well since my friend ordered that. Taste bland and barely passable. Not sure why people recommend it. Not sure either why many people eat there tho. Food for thoughts.

Just wanted to try this place with parents since they told me this is the place that they used to eat back in the 90s. They said the food was good back then but don't know about now. So we went and ordered shark's fin soup, chicken chop, Cantonese fried kuey teow with beef ginger, chicken sandwich and banana split. Verdict: it's a hit and miss. Maybe more miss than hit actually haha. The hits would be the shark's fin soup, quite good hot soup. And the other would be the banana split. It was very nice dessert. The chicken chop, however, it was so so. I mean I can eat it, the gravy was tasty enough but maybe the chicken meat itself too hard, not the juicy type. And the Cantonese fried kuey teow with the gravy egg and beef ginger, the taste is somewhat close but not so much. It was just okay, we've had better one honestly. Overall, it's possible that we might not come again if the main dish ones are not as delicious as what we thought. And plus the price are quite expensive to be honest. If it was super yummy and pricey, it's worth it for sure. But unfortunately not this one. Hope you guys improve though 👌

Yes the COZY CORNER original from Ampang Park since 1990 if im not mistaken. The original place have a problem with the parking, yeah definitely need to come on weekday. There a lot of my childhood memories here until i got my own childrens. As for the place the services is great but not as the best from the original but very acceptable. The variety of foods is definitely delicious as expected from them (Claypot Sizzling Bean Curd, Sharkfin Soup, Ayam Pandan and alot more). For your information, the new place is on 1st floor, browse a bit to the right and you will find it. My recommendation, come on weekday, easier to park and dine here. Worth the price we pay, because now a day many viral foody places with nice deco but foods taste so very average and so expensive that you cant brain. By the way, this is my personal opinion and preference based on what i eat and feel at the time. Eventhough, what i review is nor reflex the true extend of the food and business at that time since i just order some type of food only in that particular time.

Been patronising this restaurant since the 1970s and the taste is no different today than it was over 40 years ago... Even though realistically I'm sure current kitchen staffs are not the same kitchen staffs from the 1970s and 1980s 🏆

Well done Cozy Corner 👍

Would've given 5 stars if front staffs would not indirectly rushed patrons to finish dining so that they can close & return home for the evening... They don't rush patrons dining but they grab every single utensils when one of the patrons just completed dining when other fellow patrons from the same group/table are still dining.

Although the manager did her best to ensure the front staffs don't rush the patrons, unfortunately the front staffs have a mind of their own when patrons are still dining 15 minutes before closing. I feel so sorry for the manager having had to put up with such front staffs behaviour.

Nevertheless, the manager deserves 5 Star Ratings for doing her best to please & accommodate the patrons wherever & whenever possible... Thank you so much... She deserves much respect and...
