Restoran Fatimah Ghous — Restaurant in Ampang Jaya Municipal Council

Our all-time favourite go-to mamak restaurant. Food is tasty and consistent each time so we are never dissapointed with each meal. Teh tarek is by far the best in the area. If we have the cravings for maggi goreng mamak we can only think of this place. Their Cheese naan (served only after 4pm) is amazingly, amazingly good, made with gooey mozzarella, haven't come across any other mamak who does this. But their signature sup kambing takes the cake! Very rich, brothy and fiery so if you can't stomach spicy foods you're missing out so bad, and you have my sincerest sympathies. Lastly, their best quality yet, is that they share their customers with the Chinese Muslim restaurant next door, so whenever one of us feels like having say, noodles instead, we can have it at Fatimah Ghous and still eat as a family. We really appreciate this restaurant for accommodating that. Lately a buger stall just opened up front so the food choices...

A great place for me to enjoy high tea. Introduced by my brother in May '22, I'll definitely come in here whenever I enter Ampang/Kampung Pandan area. I never tried their main course, but I believe it will taste good.

Normally, I ordered Maggi Goreng(fried instant noodles) along with a glass of "teh tarik"(milk tea). Yeah, you read that part right. They did not serve tea in a cup. They put 'em in a giant glass(no wonder Malaysians often diagnosed with diabetes 😑).

I tried their Roti Telor as well. Man oh man, it's delicious ! My late mother really loves them. If tea is not your thing, I suggest you get yourself "nescafe tarik". It's some sort of a local version of milk coffee(latte).

The service is fast. I never spent beyond 30-mins to get my orders placed on the table, even...

As of 12th Sept 2023 Food is actually very good. Very generous when they give out beriyani rice. Price may end up more than RM15, but it is enough for 2 - 3 meals, so I always recommend everyone to bungkus balik.

Roti canai is soft and crisp still, but I noticed it has shrink in size already this year 2023.

Most drinks are too sweet for my taste. Almost all of them are heavily concentrated with milk, but if you want to get diabetes, come here and order any drinks you like.

Service, not complaints except that staff always talking to each other I notice, and pay very few attention to customers.
