a member mentioned that there's a new dim sum place at city mall and we should check it out. maybe i went on a wrong day but it was a pretty lousy first visit to an eatery even by kk standard. the food quality was poor, tasted poor, presentation below average. we ordered a wantan hor with fish in claypot priced above rm20 and tasted only saltiness. even the chinese tea tasted stale. we had eaten dim sum at lok tian and new wk in the past week and this place is no competition. perhaps it wasn't meant to be competition and we set a wrong...

we had dim sum lunch here today, price wise it's about the same at most dim sum restaurants. The only difference I noticed is we don't get thirsty after the meal, so I guessed they don't use too much msg which is so good to know. All the popular dim sum restaurants we tried are loaded with msg, so this is a pleasant surprise for us. This will be our to come dim sum place...
