The attention to details by the serving staff is commendable.

The steamed rice wrapped in banana leaf brought out fragrances; somewhat resembling the style of serving observed from some natives in neighbouring state. Noticed the decorative elements display those that represent Sarawak.

The chicken was nicely cooked - flavourful.

The condiments that came alongside the main dish sent different flavours of sweetness and spiciness to the tastebud - mouthwatering for more chicken.

Had chatted briefly with the guy who sat at the cashier counter (perhaps the owner to the business) about the food ordered. There is nothing to dislike. Will come back to try other dishes...

Visited for a quick meal and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service. The staff were welcoming and the waiting time wasn’t too bad, I appreciated that all the dishes came out at once. I had the BBQ chicken with steamed rice, salad and sambal. The chicken was very tender and tasty, but it wasn’t served hot. The rice was quite plain, didn’t come wrapped in leaves as shown in the photos, and didn’t have any sort of fragrance from leaf steaming. I also ordered the cucur sayur, which was crispy, not oily, and absolutely delicious.

The only real issue was the cutlery, as the round, cylindrical handles made it difficult to grip properly, especially when...

Tried the nasi daging empal. Quite good and teh tarik came in this huge glass (tad sweet or too milky despite instruction less sweet). They served you with some kuih muih which is optional for the customer.

Food wise was okay and I was surprised the cili hijau wasn't spicy at all, actually all of the cili paste that came with my dish were not spicy. Now, I need to criticise the usage of the utensils which is not practical. I don't know why they use this round-shape fork and spoon as they were slippery and slightly heavy. I almost drop it or caused my food to almost fly across me with it. Good for you if you use your...
