the food taste good, ordered dendeng, paru balado, gulai pucuk ubi, ayam pop, and rendang, dendeng and paru balado are the best. pandan lemongrass drink is also superfresh. the food taste Indonesian authentic enough the ambience is nice, the staffs mostly friendly. I even book table to bring my guests to eat there for the next day. but I am very disappointed with one of the woman staff there, I left my glasses on my table, and came back to the store to take my glasses, that woman staff is sloppy and accidentally drop my glasses to the floor and a part of my glasses is broken, what makes me disappointed is she didnt check if my glasses were okay after she drop it, she just give the glasses to me while staring at me not even say sorry. its so unfortunate that she doesnt even have a basic manner like saying "sorry". I didnt ask for compensation, but a basic manner and gesture, becuse If I do, it may cost her her monthly wages :))

In the sea of non-halal cuisine around this area this 100% halal restaurant is a welcome relief for anyone looking for good, good GOOOD Indo-Malay cuisine in a very comfortable setting! I am in love with the paru balado, cooked crisp and covered in a generous serving of sambal. Star of my lunch there was the nasi padang set. Laden with 3 pieces of tender and juicy grilled chicken, a generous serving of beef rendang, heavenly kuah gulai, and yummy yum grilled eggplant and tempeh all paired together with sambal hijau so good it’s gonna make you cry. Sup tulang was also impressive, don’t forget to add the lime and accompanying chilli for extra kick! Needless to say I am a fan of this place!

Came here after being recommended by a friend. I must say that the food is so good. We came here and ordered a feast, and every single one of them was so flavourful and worked well together. I'll recommend: 1. Prawn with Petai (spicy) 2. Eggplant with anchovies 3. Oxtail soup 4. Green and red sambal The spices, cooking style and flavours in the dishes were on point. The team there were also friendly, and they accept credit card and e wallet as well. It's worth a stop if you would like to try quality Padang Cuisine. Price was reasonable too.

Indonesian comfort food in a comfortable setting. Happy to have dined here several times already and I can confidently say:

Food - Wide variety of heavy-hitters that hit the spot. Personal favs are the Rendang, Prawn sambal, Ayam bakar and Gulai. Still need to try the others but I always end up ordering some of the same because I like them too much. Pro tip, come early or order ahead because some dishes runs out fairly quickly because customers come here to gorge themselves.

Location - Not my best pick, but it is accessible. Market 88 has its problems but the corner where the shop is itself, is probably a better spot than the centre of it all.

Atmosphere - Nothing fancy, but comfy and cute. Probably only casual dining Indo place in KK. Eventhough it is Padang food, the restaurant itself has some Bali vibes in it. Plus, it is air-conditioned, which I think is important to say considering KK's wheather and that you can't go to any other Indo restaurant in KK without sweating up your pits.

Service - Good. Staff are attentive and they get my orders correct each time. Not something I can say about most places in KK. I also started ordering via Grab delivery and it is really great that I can just call in to check and they are switched...

Terrible experience. When we arrived, the place was empty. That should have been a sign that something was not right.

We ordered petai and a dish of onions, green and red chilli appeared! No petai??? We asked why and answer... they ran out of petai! Most unprofessional and strange to serve onions and chillis in its place!

Grilled lamb was like 6 very very thin, dry and overcooked slices that were not edible as they were chewy and fatty.

Beef rendang was okay nut few pieces of beef... probably ran out too and gave whatever was left!

Kangkong was not kangkong but sweet potato leaves???? Eggplant was probably the only decent dish although it was drenched in oil.

Overall an...
