Indonesian comfort food in a comfortable setting. Happy to have dined here several times already and I can confidently say:
Food - Wide variety of heavy-hitters that hit the spot. Personal favs are the Rendang, Prawn sambal, Ayam bakar and Gulai. Still need to try the others but I always end up ordering some of the same because I like them too much. Pro tip, come early or order ahead because some dishes runs out fairly quickly because customers come here to gorge themselves.
Location - Not my best pick, but it is accessible. Market 88 has its problems but the corner where the shop is itself, is probably a better spot than the centre of it all.
Atmosphere - Nothing fancy, but comfy and cute. Probably only casual dining Indo place in KK. Eventhough it is Padang food, the restaurant itself has some Bali vibes in it. Plus, it is air-conditioned, which I think is important to say considering KK's wheather and that you can't go to any other Indo restaurant in KK without sweating up your pits.
Service - Good. Staff are attentive and they get my orders correct each time. Not something I can say about most places in KK. I also started ordering via Grab delivery and it is really great that I can just call in to check and they are switched...

its so unfortunate that she doesnt even have a basic manner like saying "sorry". I didnt ask for compensation, but a basic manner and gesture, becuse If I do, it may cost her her...

Grilled lamb was like 6 very very thin, dry and overcooked slices that were not edible as they were chewy and fatty.
Beef rendang was okay nut few pieces of beef... probably ran out too and gave whatever was left!
Kangkong was not kangkong but sweet potato leaves???? Eggplant was probably the only decent dish although it was drenched in oil.
Overall an...
