Bibimbowl Korean Restaurant — Restaurant in George Town

Not the first time here! A strongly recommended Korean restaurant although it does not look new or have very good ambience. It impresses me anyway ! Most importantly the food here taste authentic! You must order your food and pay at the counter with TNG or Cash before food to be severed at your table. No service charge and government tax is a big thumbs up dining in this restaurant! Staff are friendly and helpful especially the Korean boss ! I always try their most popular dish which is Bibimbowl in Spicy Pork RM19 nett ! They used to have a beef Bibimbowl years back but due to higher cost they replace it with pork. The sauce is nice and without MSG and I will not feel thirsty after having meal here. You can always request for extra sauce without any additional charges. The three side dishes that come along with the bibimbowl will be changed daily and can be refilled ! Eat all you can ! Other food that you must try are Korean Fried Chicken and gyoza! The Korean fried chicken is prepared fresh when order, hot and coated with sweet and spicy Korean sauce. A MUST try dish ! Although the restaurant is sometimes nearly fully occupied, the food is served in a speedy manner ! Waiting time not more than 20 minutes !

INSECT FOUND IN SIDE DISHES 🚨

As a frequent visitor who has always appreciated your food and service, I was extremely disappointed to find an insect inside side dishes that came with my “takeaway” kimchi fried rice.

Not only affected my dining experience but also raised concerns about the hygiene and quality standards maintained at your restaurant. As someone who has consistently chosen your place over others, this experience was both surprising and disheartening.

I believe that every customer deserves to dine with peace of mind, knowing that the food served is safe and prepared under strict hygiene standards. I trust that you share this belief and hope that you take immediate action to investigate this matter thoroughly.

I would appreciate it if you could provide feedback on the actions taken to ensure this does not happen again. Additionally, any form of acknowledgment or gesture to restore my confidence in your establishment would be greatly appreciated.

Been here multiple times however this visit was disappointing.

I and my friend ordered their mul- naengmyeon （冷面） but got served two bowls of noodles with huge ice cubes. We ordered the noodles a few times before but it doesn’t look like what he served.

We spoke to the staff but he insisted that we were the one making the wrong orders. The shop even repost our comments without our consent without telling others the full story.

I have included the picture of their mul- naengmyeon (冷面）posted on Bibimbowl Facebook and also my receipt. I would say doesn’t look like what we were ordered.

Update: Please review the picture again. The one we got is not ice blended, it is clearly ice cubes. Now you are saying it is supposed to be ice blended.
