Hokkien prawn mee was delicious. The broth was flavourful and the best taste of shrimp. RM7 per serving. 4 stars
Claypot chicken rice was poorly done. Too dry. 2 stars
Fried hor fun was slightly above average. With wok hei and sauce was good. 3 stars
Lobak and prawn fritters were slightly above average. 3 stars
Italian spaghetti was excellent. Sauce was addictive and grilled chicken was well done. 4 stars
Curry fishead was delicious. More importantly, it is also valued for money. Medium size fishead only at RM30. Curry was nicely done, and the ingredients were generous. 4 stars.
Grilled fish was delicious. Tender and soft and still juicy inside. The best of it was RM10 per serving. Value for money. Grilled salmon and steak were also good at RM20 each. Grilled chicken at RM13 per serving was mediocre. What I can say is that this is my most economical stall if I crafted for Western food at a bargain. 4 stars
Belacan fried rice was very good. The sambal was the best compliment. Although quite spicy but very appetising. 4 stars
Fried porridge was equally delicious. RM10 per serving with extra ingredients of 3 types of mushrooms. 4 stars
Popiah was delicious. Good filling and well done. RM5 per serving. It's a bit spicy. 4 stars
Fried yee mee also ok. Well fried and not overcooked. Just lack of wok hei. Slight above standard. 3 stars

Read moreFirst time visiting, definitely one of the better hawker centers to visit especially when you are in the pulau tikus area. The hawker center only opens at evening till night and surprisingly, full of locals!
The stalls are also surprising, whereby I seem to notice that each and every stall offers a unique dish so if you want a specific dish like oyster egg, you have only 1 choice.
I'm glad to say this is the Penang hawker food that I have been looking forward to since coming here as the more tourist areas are not as nice as before or inconsistent. The price as well is very decent where you can have basic char kuey teow at just rm6!
Onto the good food that I have tried, the char kuey teow is delicious and it even has pork sausages, fish cakes and a lot of taugeh, a great deal! Moreover, the chicken wing & drummet is fantastic and you need to order at least 2 but it is well worth it! The honey glazed chicken is aromatic, delicious and outright irresistible, I could easily eat 10 of these in one sitting!
Onto the decent, the oyster egg is pretty slimy tasting, it's decent but you may get a little nausea from eating it repeatedly, recommended to share. The pork burger is also pretty good but it isn't cheap at rm10, you won't miss it.
Overall, a great local spot and will definitely come again!

Read moreLocation: located on a busy street opposite the famous girl school. Hence easy to locate but very hard to get a parking lot. So advisable to grab a car to reach here. Ambience: the dining area consists of open air food court with covered area at the inner half of the food court. Varieties: all you want Penang Street Food with choice of western and Japanese street food added to your choices. Also the Cantonese style fried noodles and claypot porridge are available too. Price: Very good and reasonable price as most patrons are local Penangites. But the price of the drinks as usual are a bit on the high, your choice to order or not to order, up to you. Taste: As usual, Penang street food will never fail you! Cleanliness and service: floor are clean, but the downside is they use a lot of plastic and disposable chopsticks! Overall: Great place to visit and will sure come back the...
