Found this small shop by accident as we were looking for somewhere else today. Late Sunday lunchtime so we dropped in for something to eat. Really glad we did, it’s one of the best places around, easily 5 out of 5 for this hidden gem.
It’s primarily a coffee shop and they certainly know their coffees and how to make them. They also have a nice selection of cakes which I’ll be back to try one day. They seem to have a fairly eclectic mix of Coffee, Japanese food and Pasta. Weird mix, but good.
I had the chicken pasta (Chile Agilo Olio with Chicken toast slice). Really, really tasty and a good lunchtime serving. Good quality food. My wife had the Grilled Chicken Teriyaki Bento and that was excellent too.
Staff are fantastic and very friendly. One of them explained to me how to make ice-drip coffee. Really nice people and all very young.
I loved this little cafe and I’ll be back regularly...
Read moreVery cosy place with friendly service, good food and excellent drinks. We were a group of four and at the end we didn't have much to complain about ✔👍.
The Lotus Biscoff Coffee, Blueberry Soy Yoghurt Smoothie and Shaken Brown Sugar Latte🧋😛 were a brilliant respite from a sweltering Penang day 🥵. The hot caffe latte ☕ was well done too, served at the optimal temperature.
The food was delicious for the most part. The outright winner was the Chicken Katsu Curry Bento😋. The Fish and Chips was pretty good, too. The Sweet and Sour Seabass Bento and the Grilled Chicken Teriyaki Bento suffered in comparison in terms of overall taste as well as the miserlyness of fish and chicken portions.
Overall, a great find and we'll be making our way back here again....
Read more🌧️ Rain led me here, and I’m glad it did. This little café is tucked quietly between other tenants, almost easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. I popped in for shelter and ordered a cappuccino, and it turned out to be such a good decision. The coffee came with a neat little tasting card describing the blend (Ethiopia, Brazil & Colombia). Notes of dark chocolate, toasted almond, and toffee? Yes, exactly what I tasted in every sip. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel—just the kind of cup that makes you want to linger a little longer. A cozy hidden stop in Penang that proves sometimes the best finds happen by accident. Would definitely come back for another...
