Read moreFOOD: I got a Kim Gary set that included chicken, cabbage, sprouts, 2 pieces of carrots, one piece of broccoli, rice, soup, sauce, and iced Chinese tea with condensed milk. I liked it! They give you a lot of cabbage I guess it's cheaper than carrots and broccoli since they only put a little of those. Definitely a complete meal here.
Soup you choose from a red tomato type or creamy soup. Opted for the red tomato soup the server said most people order that one and I can see why it was yummy and I ate the whole bowl. Had cabbage of course in it and some celery.
Main chicken dish came on a sizzling hot plate so be careful it's hot! I didn't really like the fishy thin flakes on top too fishy for my taste.I loved the Iced Chinese tea with condensed milk!
Few menus they give you so you have lots of options to choose from it is kind of overwhelming. Their drinks look delicious I want to come back to try them all like their fruity teas and mango coconut smoothly tapioca looking drinks.
ATMOSPHERE: This place is inside Queensbay mall toward the middle on the second floor . Nice open dark wood seating area. Feels clean and family friendly or a chill hang out spot for young people.
Also I like they give you utensils with your meal or you can get it from the utensil box they give you as you get to your table. PAY: You go up to the register to pay for your bill.
When you order you write down the number of the meal and drink you want. Made it easy to order for us and the servers having a template receipt already...

Here are my 2 cents. hear me out and you won't regret it. There was a queue, I know its promo time but i think the marketing team was "prepared". Instead of the usual way of taking order by waiter/waitress, they took orders by app. The app was messed up. ended up ordering 2 set meals with 2 soup and 2 chinese tea costing rm47.00. first of all, seriously? one set meal for over rm20 and you get a chinese tea and just a soup for free? How "generous", and the tea wasn't good at all. smelt like overnight tea. How was it set meal if every other drinks and desserts are extra charges?
That was not all, the food wasn't good as it was promo time and there was too much customer to entertain, to make it short, the food is disappointing. Ended up having to wait half an hour on top of the queue time.
In the end, there was a service charge and sst that costed rm39 for the entire meal. That's pretty standard but it another hidden charge.
so was it worth it you ask me? Even with the promo, it wasn't, id had two good kfc dinner plate if i went to kfc, had my dinner earlier and be satisfied with it. goodbye kim gary, your promo just shoved me...
