The Manhattan Fish Market — Restaurant in George Town

We ordered Manhattan Fish 'N Chips here. The salmon batter was overfried. However the salmon fillet inside tasted ok, while the fries were only warm and not crunchy maybe because it was already prepared for quite sometime before our order . The website should have taken down promotions that have already ended , we were disappointed because we decided to go here because of the promotion advertised in the website ,nevertheless still we tried the fish n chips on the menu. The iced lemon tea and iced peach tea taste good.The service charge should be waived because the only time service was given is when food delivered and refilling drink, both of them, can be done just by ourselves. They also charged a packet of wet tissue for rm0.50 (the most annoyed thing is the price mentioned at the packet was really small as people might be not alerted with that sentence). Instead, I think they shouldn't charge for the first wet tissue used by customer, but then if the customer wants some more wet tissue, then it's ok for them to charge rm0.50. So overall i...

I had dinner here on the 1st of May 2019. Customer service is quite bad. Took us awhile to get the server’s attention. He took our orders, without writing them down. When asked to repeat my orders, he missed out on the extra mashed potato. Food arrived, we had the garlic mussels and it was finger licking good ! However, my Flaming prawns did not turn out as good as it used to be. First of all, I asked to substitute the fries with rice, but since the waiter did not write down the orders, obviously it came out wrong. And I’m sure the prawns should be topped with cheese and a little mayonnaise/caramelised sauce, but there was clearly no cheese. The sauce was just too sweet that we drank water more than the food. Quality has gone out the window. The fish and fries was cold and soggy. I returned it, and it was simply refried, so now it's hard, warm and oily. Management was nowhere to be found and the waitress just gave me a blank look. Send it back again, now I'm expecting spit in my food. A separate waiter, Nadzren asked if my food was delayed, I made my complaints and he took it very seriously. I've gone beyond hungry by this point and the chef seems to be uncooperative with my waiter. The fish came back (third time), new batch, hot and crispy.
