TL;DR if you want a light meal, the porridge, thin bee hoon and "932" drink in this shop will satisfy your craving. Edit: This shop is directly below the "Xpert Gadget: Mobile Phone Repair" banner. Found this lesser-known place when a local recommended it. The lady bosses here will fully explain the menu options as you sit. I had fried grouper (belly) porridge and it was so light yet delicious! The fried fish was immersed in the soup, which is alright with me because the taste was not spoiled, but might be a no-no for others. At least the fish did not disintegrate in the soup. They also recommended a drink called "932," a concoction of tangerine, sour plum and honey. I found it to be well balanced in sweet, savoury and sour tastes. It was relief for my dry, coughing throat after a whole day of walking. I would definitely recommend visiting this place for relief from chasing oily, heavy food all over in Georgetown.

Very fresh fish meat & seafood. Their servings are very generous and huge 👍🏻 with thick cut of fish which are very rare to find especially for Penang fish noodle restaurants. Overall we feel is pleasantly nice because the price is reasonable and ingredients are generous compared to other restaurants. The clear broth however, is quite mild & can still feel slight thirst after some time but still acceptable. They have other stir fry choo-char dishes as well and we will revisit to try other dishes next time. The lady boss & the waiter are very nice and very thoughtful service 💯

First and last time here. Ordered fish noodles and was shocked to find chicken feet inside — absolutely no mention of that on the menu. Tried the fried noodles too, and honestly, even instant noodles taste better. The shop is unbearably hot, like there’s no air to breathe. We asked the lady boss to lower the air-cond temperature, but she refused, saying it would increase her electricity bill and make the soup cold. That’s just ridiculous. Even eating at Pulau Tikus market is way more comfortable — at least it’s breezy and cool there. Not coming back.
