This Pelita outlet has been around for a long time. The nasi kandar at Pelita definitely has its distinctive taste and although it is not the top few Nasi Kandar in Penang, somehow once in a while I will still crave for it.
Besides nasi kandar, the roti canai here is pretty decent. Same for maggi goreng and actually the maggi sup is very nice too! Yes! Instead of cooking myself at home, I prefer to have maggi sup here... Weird eh? Haha.
Teh tarik is also nice and you can try with kurang manis. I find the teh tarik just nice with the smoothness, sweetness and the usually aroma you get from teh tarik.
Service is very fast when I visited as they usually have quite a number of ppl serving or taking orders so all is good here.
Hopefully this outlet will continue to be operational for a long...

I ordered 2 bendi rebus, I ask for extra 3 bendis from curry soup, a rice, kuah campur and a hardboiled egg. 2 out of 5 bendis are hard and edible. Then the worker (fat indian who always use slipper, the one who didnt use the working cap) price me RM 8.40 !!!!!!! I was shock looking at the price.. plus he slowly fold the receipt after writing the total price and handed it to me...
