Restoran Tong Hooi — Restaurant in George Town

Visited Restoran Tong Hooi mainly for the famous Ah Leng Char Koay Teow. It certainly lived up to its reputation. The char koay teow was packed with flavour, and the shrimps were large, succulent, and juicy. While waiting, we ordered fried yam rolls, fish cakes, and shrimp rolls from the loh bak stall. All were freshly fried, crispy, and delicious.

Verdict: I was here for the Char Koay Teow, but I found that the Asam Laksa is nicer.
