This is an old school coffee shop located in a residential area. They serve dim sum in the morning and at night they have the mushroom chicken hor fun soup. There is another stall serving fried snacks as well.
I ordered a Korean pancake, a set of fried belacan chicken, and kerabu tofu as well as the mushroom chicken hor fun. The fried side dishes exceeded my expectations. The fried chicken is very crispy on the outside and crispy on the inside. The kerabu tofu has a nice texture and flavour. Korean pancake is crispy and has a lot of shrimps in within. The batter they use is very light and airy. Amazing.
I tried the soup version of the mushroom chicken noodles. The mushroom chicken broth is added at the end. It is so flavourful. Has a nice herbal/alcohol smell. I think the dry version will be better.
Parking is limited around here. Food is economical. Ambiance is not so great. Towards the end of our dinner near to 8pm. Many mosquitoes start to attack if you are seated outdoor.
I saw many comments talking about the roasted duck. It wasn't there yesterday. Maybe already closed permanently.
I will revisit to try their dimsum in...

If you know Cantonese, chat with the lady at the stall, she can be quite chatty in that dialect. Please try the green siu mai, which has celery inside... it really balances the...
Read moreIt was something different from an ordinary ipoh chicken hor fun. Basically there are two broths, one is a lightly taste chicken soup while the other one is a thick broth consisting diced chicken pieces and mushroom.
It is then topped with green onion and some chopped red chilli.
The whole bowl of hor fun should be mixed thoroughly. You can feel a war on your tongue.
It is very nice for the past 10 times I went.however, this time was slightly on the salty side. Hope they will try to maintain the god...
