JB City Shopping Mall Apt @ KSL — Hotel in Johor

I would like to express this bad experience on my first staycay at this Apartment. This is my first time , to avoid getting my way lost, I had booked GRAB. Unfortunately, their apartment address in AGODA is incorrect and this can lead to miscommunication and i almost had an argument with the driver over the address. The driver was also trying to help and he had asked repeatedly if this is the correct address as it brought us to a Indian family apartment. I told him the address was stated in my booking. Not only address is incorrect, the AGODA mentioned "JB SHOPPING MALL APARTMENT". For good sake, suggest Owner of this Apartment to please change it "D'Esplanade Residence" next to KSL Mall. The Indian family also seems annoyed as am sure I am not the only traveller knocking their door, and was told their address was being used. This is so bad. Upon reaching, there is only 2 security at the carpark and best part is there is no receptionist. They have A & B which i assume is their Block. B got no access, and i have to wait when someone came out from the apartment. Tried calling the owner to clarify, they just decline my calls and they only chat on WhatsApp only. I am running out of patience by then.... The room is spacious, but tv is not working. Due to the poor network connectivity, it got hang easily and after loading some time, it will go back to main screen which is of no use watching. This apartment probably suitable for family. But defiantely not for my type. I cannot stand the noise coming from the neighbours as they talked very loud and we can hear clear and sharp. Especially when middle of the night half way asleep but got awake by the neighbours noise, and also early morning another group of family were loud and we got awake. Luckily we booked for one night. We did not sleep well and can't imagine if we were to stay for days and to tolerate all the loud noise. Next is the lift, we were allocate to level 35. The lift is super slow, plus during peak time and checkout time, we waited almost 15-20mins for the lift and everyone is squeezing the lift. This will be my first and last visit. A very bad experience and defiantely not recommending to my friends/families. it still depends on individual stay, Probably there are still some others...

Worst stay ever!

1. Lifts take forever to come and only 3 out of 4 working. Spent 20 mins waiting for lift to come cos every damn lift is full.

Everybody took the lift to the highest floor and come down in order to reach ground floor. Lift is not ventilated and stuffy and everyone is sweaty. First time experiencing sauna in lift and hot breath against my neck!

If you are fat , you can forget entering the lift as the lift has a very sensitive sensor and zero tolerance to weight and admit at most 7-8 lean person. Everyone will curse you if they find a fat person in the lift as it waste 2 potential candidates for the lift.

Imagine a big family being disrupted by the lift operation is unimaginable and I really pity the real residents of this condo.

In the end, I spent 30 mins to get to ground floor (No joke!). Would have taken the stairs from 26th floor instead!

2. Shower not working. Agent say they can’t arrange technician to come on the same day to fix and can only arrange the next day😰 What is the point as I am checking out the next day! Who the hell can accept a room where u can’t bathe!

After an hour, agent offered an additional room without additional charge but the aircon in the other room was blowing hot air / spoilt. The room has a stale smell that seems to be unoccupied for some time. No choice, I have to use the additional room for shower and first room for sleeping😅

3. The only saving grace is the accessible location and good wifi (low latency) playing mobile games.

Other than that , I won’t hesitate to recommend to my worst enemy to...

I had a very unpleasant experience staying at this apartment.First of all, there were no small towels or floor mats provided in the bathroom. When water from the sink overflowed, it made the floor very slippery. As I was leaving the bathroom, I slipped and twisted my waist — and it’s still painful now.The bathtub was also clogged and water couldn’t drain properly. On top of that, the ceiling in the living room was leaking. It was raining when we arrived, and water started dripping inside. There was also a strong, unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen.The lock on the metal gate was broken, which made us feel unsafe. When we went to collect the mailbox key, no clear instructions were provided, and we wasted a lot of time trying to figure it out.The internet connection in the apartment was very weak, both for mobile data and the Wi-Fi inside the house. It was difficult even to make a simple phone call or contact the host.Also, the elevator took a very long time every time we used it, which was frustrating, especially when we were in a hurry.Overall, this place was very disappointing and definitely not...
