We had always like this noodles shop. The noodles r nice and the broth is gd. Combination with its side dishes make a good fulfilling meal (小鱼条 is the best! Crispy and flavorful, deep fried to perfection at RM5.50 per set). There is also lok lok selling outside the stall now. Per stick range from RM0.80 which is reri very afforable, the taste is about the same as other lok lok selling in Jb. Cost of the noodles r priced reasonbly too (starting from RM7.00 from its most normal soup all the way to superior soup) with its portion.
The shop itself is a little run down though. It may need some reno to attract bigger clientele. Dining here after sunset would b better than in the afternoon cos it can get real hot, especially when u r having the hot broth, sweating is reri not an option.
Staff service n attitude r ok. Ordering n paying r prompt, not a problem.
If u r a noodles & soup lovers, u will love the food here. Good tasty food with affordable prices. Highly...
Read morePoor hygiene and food handling by the staff. Provided non-WHO compliant hand sanitisers whereas the alcohol content is probably less than 50 percent. No proper enforcement on the public as patrons can enter and leave by just using their arms for temperature self check, no face mask and /or without scanning MySejahtera. A perfect environment for new COVID-19 cluster. Food prices are still at the premium high side, which is converted from SG Dollar despite the Malaysian Singapore border still closed for over a year due to pandemic. The food is not even up to basic expectations of a typical Chinese non halal pork Noodle, ingredients such as vegetables and fish ball is evidently not fresh. If they participate in Hells Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay, they will be asked to seal up and wait for health authorities to issue them a...
Read moreThe signboard no longer bright red as per Google pic. It wasn’t busy when we visited about 11am. Service was prompt & attentive. Menu mostly comprised of noodles with variety of fishes & pork meat or seafood. Although the place wasn’t air conditioned but it was really comfy as there was a big chiller to dehumid the entire area. When the sun came shining in the service staff was quick to bring down the external cover to block the sun rays. We ordered their popular noodles and two side dish - fish cake & deep fried Wu Xiang . The fish ball was average while the deep fried Wu Xiang was fresh and nice. The noodles broth was naturally sweet & there were fish ball, pork slices, minced pork, fu chok & vegetables. It was very edible but nothing impressive enough to revisit. Portion is small and suitable for...
