Stumbled upon this Vietnamese cafe by chance
So I was in Johor Bahru, capital city of the southern state of Johor where I used to go once in a month before Covid-19 strikes. After finishing my works and no one was exactly free to accompany me for a quick lunch, I fired up my Google to search for places to eat. I lifted my head up and there I saw this cafe located at one corner of the shops I was driving along.
My tummy was begging for food and luck was on my side as one vehicle was coming out of the parking space and I immediately took his place and proceed into the restaurant. I thought that it was some sort of fusion restaurant but it turned out to be Vietnamese instead. Oh well...
◾Vietnamese banh mi - Gotta love the loaded French Baguette loaded generously with flavourful and tender pork meat and parsley. No time for utensils.. just whacked with both hands. ◾Vietnamese Drip Coffee - ordered for fun. Read moreCame across this place while searching for good food near Aeon Tebrau. Love the beef stew noodles and Vietnamese spring rolls so much that this has been my constant order for the past 3 visits we made here. The beef is very tender and the broth is so flavourful and taste homemade. The Vietnamese spring rolls are the best I've come across in a long time. The rice paper skin is moist and Chewy, and the sauce is so good. The prices are very reasonable. I like that we can have a quiet place to have breakfast here while waiting for Aeon to open at 10am.
It also looks very kid friendly. There are highchairs available, and the whole place is air conditioned and neat and clean. Can see lots of food items on the menu which kids would love, like fried rice, sandwiches and western food.
Service is excellent.
Overall a highly recommended place to dine in. Intend to try their other...

We ordered the minced pork ban mian. It was tasty, with loads of ingredients and I really love the chewy-ness of the noodles.
My young son ordered a Bahnmi and he said he likes it - though the pickled carrot maybe a little surprise for him. But it was a nice surprise that they provide plastic gloves for him to eat the Bahnmi
For drinks, I ordered the sea salt lemon drink. It was refreshing and the warm drink soothed my scratchy throat on a cold rainy afternoon.
