The Bierhaus Desa Tebrau — Restaurant in Johor

I wandered into this restaurant because I saw it sells pizza lol 😂 after months(!) passing by because I don't drink beer so I assumed it wasn't for me

But after the food experience, I'm glad to try out this place, and will revisit again for sure!

The male server who attended me was kind, attentive, articulate and respectful. I ordered food based on his recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. On the contray, despite the higher price end, it is on par with the food quality I received 🥩. And I like that nobody came and chat, asked me blabla when I am enjoying my food, 5 stars, yet the lady waitress collected my empty plate promptly. Excellent.

The environment is filled with some chatty, happy after-work customers but the noise is moderate. Probably because of its spacious space.

Definitely come back again for another...

I came with three friends, and the service here was disappointing from the start. We had to keep calling the staff for attention—there was no eye contact or basic engagement.

We ordered masala chicken with bread, and later requested more bread. When the extra bread arrived, it was cold. We asked why, and the staff just said, “ kitchen closed” even though it was only 11:45 PM. No apology, no effort to explain.

I then asked if they could warm it in the microwave, but again—no response, no action. Just completely ignored.
