Enjoyed a meal at Pandan Noodles, a business started since 1935. Ordered both white & black traditional version. Black wins for me. Char siew slices were dry lean type. Appreciate that the noodles were not drizzled with lard like those from KL. If you like a bowl lighter in taste and oil, this might be the one for you. Dry niang tou fu was really good too. Doesn't look too enticing from the outside of the shop. Looks like a chinese restaurant and looks closed most of the time which is why i never been here even though living in this area for the past 3 years.

But just random visit one day and it was a good surprise.

I spent a couple of hours here to have breakfast and had their signature porridge and it was great and nice. I love the char siew bao! However coffee is so quite pricey for the quantity of it and if you’re a strong coffee drinker, 1 is not enough 😅 I had 3 coffees straight when I was here. Staffs weren’t really conversing in English as this restaurant is probably Mandarin spoken area but I still was served politely and patiently 😊 I’d go here again to try...
