Update :
First of all,
I did not complain about the mistake in taking the order, but rather sought an apology for the attitude of blaming the customer without confirming the facts. While both sides may have their own perspectives, starting with “It’s the customer’s fault, I’m not at fault, but I’ll change the order” leaves a bad impression.
As someone who also works in customer service, I found it unacceptable to blame others from the outset, so I pointed it out.
Even after discussing the matter with the male employee and reaching a resolution, it was the female employee who continued to assert her stance. I did not speak to the female employee after we had reached an understanding. Please verify this with the CCTV footage.
Because the female employee’s insistence did not cease, I had no choice but to raise my voice. However, a store that treats customers as monster customers when they raise valid concerns has no future.
Initially, the female employee claimed it was the female customer’s mistake, but later shifted the blame to the male customer. The store’s argument was inconsistent, but we still managed to reach an agreement, so the timeline is incorrect.
No one said that the customer should always be prioritized, and you have misunderstood the point we were making.
While it is important to defend your employees, starting with “It’s the customer’s fault, I’m not at fault” will lead to similar issues in the future. This situation did not arise solely because of an order mistake, but if this is still unclear, perhaps you should consider hiring a customer service etiquette instructor.
Original ————- Really upset and disappointed with the staff. They mixed up our order and served it to us. When we pointed out that’s not our order the waitress blamed us for ordering wrongly when we clearly said it’s not us and it was her. She made a fuss when we ask her for an apology as she blamed us for the wrong order. She shouted at us and made a scene till the other diners was annoyed and told her to stop. Totally upset with this restaurant food might be good but service was...
Read moreI've lived in Vietnam for 8 years and have not found a place with authentic Vietnamese food, until now.
Everything reminds me of Vietnam, from the decoration and music to the people and of course, the food. I've tried 3 of the foods in the picture and they all tasted great. My friend also highly recommends their phở. Also recommend their Cafe Sữa Đá (Iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk).
Edit 1: I've tried a few more dishes since my last review: Phở - must try if you love dishes with broth. It comes with blanched bean sprouts and some herbs on the side like they do in Vietnam AND there's a tube of Chin-Su (a Vietnamese brand) chilli sauce. Bún Bò Huế - light, not too salty, very filling for me.
Recently, I was craving the Vietnamese fish sauce used in bún chả, which is the dish with the fried spring rolls. They've added more veggies now and I love it (I've attached a recent picture to compare with...
Read moreMy wife and I were here this Monday evening for dinner. We've been coming here from time to time over many years that this Vietnamese family-run restaurant has been in business simply because the Vietnamese food here is consistently excellent. This evening, we each ordered a beef pho, and shared some summer rice rolls and a plate of fried bittergourd with egg - the last to just up the vegetable quotient of our dinner. The beef pho was excellent - the soup was clean tasting yet very flavourful and the noodles and beef slices therein were very good. The summer rice rolls were excellent - the whole ensemble was just so refreshingly super duper. The fried bittergourd with egg tasted home cooked and yummy. Service at this restaurant was familiar in feeling and great. The dining ambience was very comfortable. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for excellent "home cooked"...
