WE WERE HUMILIATED IN THIS RESTAURANT!
The first time me and my wife went, was on my birthday, my wife planned everything and brought me there because we wanted to try Italian food. Me and wife, we like to order more than usual so we can taste and enjoy the varieties, hence when we were there, we told the waitress whether we can have a bigger table instead of a small one for two person, the waitress told us to make the order first and she will let us change if we are really ordering more than the table size can take. So after ordering, I asked the waitress whether we can, she said yes and moved us to another table, a table for 4, and hence we really enjoyed our dinner, we had like 4 startes, 2 main courses, and a dessert (Obviously a small table for 2 will not be able to hold them)
Because we know we order a lot, hence when we try to reserve the second time, we just told them its we need a table for 4 to make sure there is a table big enough available for our food, and nothing happened on the second time, everything was good too.
There comes the third time we went, the ladyboss boss there told us we cant do this, I told her I understand, but the thing is, we are ordering more than usual people and I didnt know I cant because I was allowed, she told us she can serve us the food one by one, but hey, you mean I cant enjoy my food all together especially the starters and I have to wait for one food to be finish until the next food can come up? You are not a fine dining restaurant.
Its her restaurant, we did not argued much and agreed, so we sat down, tried to order lesser because we really didnt want to wait too long for food to come up after each one, we ended up ordering 3-4 starters, and 2 main dish, a spaghetti, and a risotto.
And because the ladyboss told us she will serve us one by one for the food, and she want to prove that she can do it, the whole progress of us eating, they just keep checking on us, we felt really stressed and pressured, felt like the whole restaurant was watching us.
So here's the food part, the first two starters were fine, but they start to screw up after that because they were trying to capture my timing because they cant just serve the food whenever its ready due to what their ladyboss assured us, so after they saw us done with the first two starters, they served us the next one, an octopus dish, and obviously, the octopus was overcooked so badly that I felt like chewing rubbers, after all the starters, they start making our spagetthi and risotto, screwed up too, they are bad in capturing timing, the spaghetti was so soft that it felt like it could melt in my mouth when I eat it, and the risotto, complete opposite, its not even cooked, I can still feel the rice's rawness in it, you know when your rice is not completely cooked and it feels very hard in the middle, yeah so we felt very bad, guess the ladyboss pride was more important than her customers experience.
Few days ago, we decided to go again because we have a dear friend came to visit us in JB so its 3 of us and we think the same issue wont happen, so my wife called them and make a reservation and told them its 3 of us, and you know what, they actually made a note on our number to prevent us from booking a table for 4, they called back after few mins to my wife, and asked her whether we are 3 pax, and asked her ARE YOU SURE, we were very shocked to be honest, and felt really attacked, I mean, even if you think we are trying to do the same thing, you seriously think we would tell you 3 pax instead of 4 pax? Does 3 pax sound more real to you? Lol. Or do you think we are savages that still do the same thing after realising we cant?
Come on LADYBOSS! You let us get the bigger table for previous time hence we thought its ok! And we understood after you told us we actually cant, but why do you have to do this to humiliate us?
This is by far the worst and most humiliating experience of us in a restaurant, even a mamak stall make me feel...

If you are going on weekends or festivals, encourage you to make a reservation in advance. I also made a reservation tonight. They have 2 section for dinner, one is from 6 pm to 8 pm, and another slot is from after 8 pm. I arranged it after 8 pm, at least I won’t be too rushed on a busy day. They provided small pieces of bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to fill your stomach while waiting for the food. Let’s start with an appetizer - Bruschetta, which is a dish with salmon, tomatoes, and basil as ingredients on a piece of toasted crispy bread. It is a classic Italian appetizer. The fresh smoked salmon is very soft and easy to chew, and the tomatoes 🍅 harmonize the taste buds and appetite of the meal. For drinks, we ordered their house red wine 🍷 and imported juice drinks - peach & mango mix fruits juice. It tastes sweet with a little sourness, and I believe most the ladies will like it. First, a plate of lobster bisque soup, the creamy taste is neutral but not too strong, and the taste is still thick crab soup, very smooth and smooth (called bisque in French), the portion is ample, with the appetite of us Asians, if we order one more main course, this can be shared by two people (almost all Chinese diners here share it equally). For the main course, we ordered Seafood Risotto, which is a kind of Italian rice cooked in broth until it reaches a creamy consistency, with a large prawn, some shrimp, scallops (scallops) and oysters. The seafood brings out the sweet and delicious taste. The other one is Potato Gnocchi Bolognese, which is a kind of pasta. It is small pieces of dough, usually round or rectangular, boiled in water or broth, and then mixed with different sauces. I chose beef mince tomato sauce. Hearty beef mince and sweet tomato sauce. After eating these dishes, I was already full, so I gave up the idea of dessert.
There are aldo have lunch sets promotion. The service is good, and the environment design also brings out the style of a Western restaurant. The noise depends on the attitude of the customers' crowd at that time....

Environmental ambience is alright, it's nice and tranquil. The colours of the restaurant nicely compliment each other and it gives off an elegant feel. In short, you get some pretty high hopes and you start getting excited for the food.
However- this is where everything crumbles into an unyielding void of disappointment. The food, put simply in one single word, is BLAND. There's virtually no seasoning to be found, at all. One single bite of my crayfish pasta had me wondering where the SALT was. I was hoping it was just me and this dish, but no, virtually every dish my family ordered had the same problem. It's all bland, bland and bland. Not to mention the pasta was overcooked, not Al dente as how all good pasta should be.
That's it? Just bland food? Just ask for a salt shaker and sprinkle some salt over it. Oh, no, no no. It's not that simple. One can only truly bring out flavour in food when they season it DURING the cooking process.
This wasn't even the biggest problem. For RM36 you'd expect fresh seafood, correct? Not over here, you don't. The Marinara had one or two tiny depressing pieces of crab that was obviously frozen for a few days, one could easily tell by looking at it. The mussels had some grit on them, the prawns were not bad, but you could tell that they were frozen for a day or two. Another red flag for me was that the sauce was unnaturally watery. This only means one thing, melted ice from frozen seafood.
Service was alright, but the attitude of the manager was pretty bad. When we expressed our slight disappointment by comparing it to when we had the same dish last time, she replied with "When was the last time you came?" ..Not even a peep about the condition about the food? No concern about the quality and taste?
Overall, the food at this restaurant is a disaster. Terrible, bland, frozen food hidden behind a fine dining facade. You could get better, properly seasoned and not to mention cheaper pasta at the American...
