OLDTOWN White Coffee @ Permas Jaya — Restaurant in Johor

Service quality is poor. I was having meal alone. Ordered A Nasi Lemak chicken, a hazelnut coffee and a Gula melaka Chedol. There were no one who came to me to confirm my order online until 5 mins after I had sent my order. The waiter and waitress were not attentive and out of sight. Finally someone came with the order receipt and I check if the chendol can be served later. But they claim that the chendol had been made. I insisted the waitress to serve later. I was upset that I have to even let them know that dessert especially those that Melt should be serve later( by the way the webapp does not have the option to comment). The rice was okay but very stingy on the sambar, I didn't even request more as it's hard to find attentive waiters. Visited OldTown White Coffee for a casual dine-in with family (3 pax). We ordered two Nasi Lemak with Chicken Curry (RM23+ each) along with several other items, bringing the total bill to around RM106+.

The waiting time was slightly longer than expected, roughly 7–15 minutes, but nothing too inconvenient. Staff service was commendable – friendly greetings, efficient order-taking, and a pleasant attitude throughout our visit.

While the food was tasty and the service good, I did find the overall pricing a little steep for just three people. It’s not a major complaint, but there’s room for improvement in terms of value for money.

Overall, a decent experience with great service, but slightly on the pricier side for a casual family...

The most overpriced and disappointing shop ever! I’m never stepping foot here again because the pricing is absolutely unreasonable. Half an egg, a small portion of rice, and sambal for MYR13++? And they charge MYR2.50 for extra sambal? Unbelievable!

This used to be one of my favorite spots for nasi lemak, but not anymore. Places like TOAST, Tai Hong, and Oriental Kopi offer far better quality food at reasonable prices. Their portions and quality justify the price, unlike this place.

Prices of things are definitely going up but this is ridiculous and not acceptable. A low-quality meal at such a high price?...
