📷Saturday trip for pickleball and wanton noodle😎 Saturday, Woke up in the wee hours of Saturday. Headed out. Then went to the club to meet my pickleball friends. We were going to JB (Johore Bahru) to play pickleball. Expected the traffic to be bad but we cleared both sides of the customs quite fast. Early enough, so we stopped there for breakfast for wanton noodle there. More than enough seats for about 20 of us. Looked at the menu for the food and drinks. The wanton noodle for 10 MYR was a good big portion. The coffee was nice too. We had some other snacks too but I was too busy with the noodle and didn't take...

Foods original taste with spicy wantan mee, noodle texture is perfect for me and the taste is once upon a time type, mild spicy but balance mixed 4.2/5 black sauce with spicy wantan mee, sauce wont over salty instead just right n mild spicy too 4.3/5 wantan quite small but texture is good, fresh meat bouncy inside silky outside 4/5 char siu taste normal n dry cut to pieces nothing to describe much 2/5 soup is over with pepper taste so nothing much special 2.8/5

Pros nice enviroment with aircon late night supper choices good services

21 June 2024 Friday 9.30am Pretty tasty Wantan CharSiew noodles. The charsiew though was pretty hard/tough, even the thinner sliced ones. Noodles weren’t as al dente QQ as I would have liked, but my husband enjoyed the meal. The wantans given were generous (think I counted 7!) and tasty, and the prawn version was quite bouncy and crunchy … give the fried fu chok stuffed bean skin a miss. It was not crispy and worse, the bean curd skin was hard from over-frying. Still, we enjoyed our meal and will probably go there tomorrow...
