Seoul Garden Hotpot Paradigm JB. We’re greeted by unfriendly lady service staff as when we’re asking about the Tuesday promo if it is still available or there’s time limit for it she simply asked us to check on the app by ourselves. When she serve us the food we politely asking if we could have some kimchi. She told us it would be chargeable RM6.90 for the kimchi. I remembered our last time visit here last month in June we were not charged for side kimchi and was served as requested a generous amount of kimchi and satisfying taste and portion. We didn’t mentioned about it but just okay with it since I already had craving of Seoul garden kimchi before we visit. But then my husband mentioned it was different price in the app. We checked on the app and it is only RM4 for a portion of kimchi. We asked the service staff if it’s the same thing/portion and she went in to check. She come back to us and arrogantly said it would be charged as RM6.90 as ‘her boss’ didn’t mentioned/briefed them about the RM4 kimchi yet. I was stunt by the answer and clarify again with her why is it stated such price in the app if you gonna charge me RM6.90. She said she already added the RM6.90 kimchi in the system. I told her I will just add it myself from the app. It has ruined our dinner that we haven’t even started yet. No sorry no excuse me and not knowing about your own products & system shows how bad the service was. Not only stops there. Halfway eating we realised our beef army stew doesn’t come with luncheon meat which also clearly stated in the menu. My husband approached one of the kitchen staff and they came out with 4 piece of thin luncheon meat and not as visualised in the menu. We don’t argue and just eat finished our food. After finish eating then we realised one more thing after checking the photo we took earlier which our stew has no cheese in it. We’re very disappointed with how the staffs here treat us and try to rob us like a ghetto warung in smelly alley. Should not cheat customers to pay for items that should be served but was not (as it is all clearly stated in the menu). And should not charge customer with your service tax if you don’t even provide service well to customers. Very...
Read moreI came around 7.40pm for 7 peoples. Unfortunately they dont have any table inside for us eat together. The staff ask us to seat separate table and it was separated by other strangers and quite far. So it was disappointing us because we came here to eat together as one family. We’re not came from same house. When we asked for table side by side which i saw available outside, (i noticed there is around 5 tables outside that emptied and cleaned) but they give us a thousand excuses so we’re decided just to walk away unhappy. I noticed that everytime i came after maghrib, they already clear outside table and didn’t allows customer to sit there and even don’t top up any of their buffets. Not just buffet dishes, pinggan pun tak top up.. everytime i needed a new plate, i need to asked their sour face staffs. Dah boleh replace all of ur staffs with people who really needs and appreciates a job. Ur staffs betul2 kerja utk...
Read moreI don’t know how this restaurant can possibly have over 4 stars. Not even the decent music playlist that they have running over the PA could possibly redeem the dining experience we had.
Rice was over cooked and dry. Tip to surviving this restaurant, load up on the instant noodles.
Meat was not fresh and in order to hide this fact, is heavily seasoned with pepper and all other spices that the kitchen could get their hands on.
Soup is tasteless and the beverages take this incompetence to a whole new level. First time I’ve ever had “flat” sprite from a soda tap. They must have left the machine unserviced for quite a while.
Staff were pleasant enough… which means basic greetings and nothing else.
Seoul Garden really hurts the soul. First time I’ve been brought to tears by terrible food.
