Today, fam decides to spend the entire day at Paradigm Mall… We’ve been seeing Vivo Pizza ads since we stepped into Johor Bahru from City Square all the way to Paradigm. This place is spoilt for choice when you’re looking for a nice place to break fast….
We decided on Vivo simply because the ambience and the view is just … perfect… Almost fell asleep waiting for break fast timing but kept awake by the food served on our table. We got the best Table (No.1)
Watermelon juice.. Damn refreshing. Choc Marshmellow is just WOW. And BEST drink to try: Mango Delight!!! You won’t regret!
If you’re going for Chicken Chop, get the Tropical BBQ…
The food is generally 4 of 5 but I gave perfect 5 stars anyway because the staff are really nice and friendly exceeding expectations. And also because I hate to see nice staff being abused by rude customers.
As I was writing this review down, I literally witnessed a snobbish family member from another table across me being very rude towards once of Vivo’s staff member.
The staff enquired politely if there were orders not yet delivered. The customer could have just replied nicely but she decided to sarcastically demand the staff to check back the receipt and find out herself what food was not served yet.
C’mon people, be nice!
To the folks at Vivo Pizza Paradigm Mall, you guys are great! Keep doing...
Read morePlace: 1st off, they should say have a VIVO-disasterous experience. Nice air-conditioned place with comfy seats and efficient work system. Ample seats. No need to wait or fight for seats (cuz not many come here anymore). Wide variety of western food choices.
Service: Call bells and prompt system.in place, unfortunately slow waiters and lackadaisical managerial attitude and therefore waiters as well. Abysmal.
Food: Beef lasagna: the pasta is too soft and lacks bite. The flavour is good and right. The sourness is just right. And portion again is a little small. Verdict: Not the best lasagna, but passable.
Fruit salad: fresh and appetising as it has a wonderful acidic taste to it. Topped with honey and almond, it makes a nice light salad. Pprtion is a little small though. Verdict: For small appetite Vege lovers.
Italian Deluxe 14" (RM42.36): for this price, I'd get a much MUCH better pizza at Domino's or Pizzahut or a street side unknown pizza. The crust was dry, the pizza lacked seasoning and it was nothing Italian about it. Verdict: never try this.
Creamy mushroom (RM19.72): wow...not because its great but the total opposite! It was tasteless!! How does 1 screw up a pizza?? Answer: come to vivo pizza to find out!! Verdict: worst pizza ever tasted. They should just rename this outlet to...
Read moreWhen a food item or drink is unavailable, it is good practice to kindly let the customers know, and allow them to make a different choice. This allows us to make a change in our order, and have a good meal despite the unavailable items.
This wasn't the case here, as our order of warm water (2) with our lunch meal was plainly rejected, as the waitress crossed our order and wrote (in front of us) 2 bottles of mineral water, instead. She did not ask us if we would like to have something else. We asked for the price of the mineral water, and she rudely said, "harga memang tak sama lah!?" as she walked off. We also noticed her treating other staff as if they were "below" her.
The customers are given a menu for a reason. Also, the waitress' gesture before our meal ruined our appetite. Besides that, it brought our (drinks) order from RM2 for warm water, to RM7 for mineral water. Apart from that, the food was okay. Not the best, but acceptable. Of course, this could be due to us not feeling welcome as customers here. I hope this incident can be detected and improved upon in the...
