Paradigm Residence by RR JBcity — Hotel in Johor

My family booked the 3 bedroom apartment. Check-in was seamless however only 1 access card/key was given. It was a hassle for us as the card is needed to access the lobby & lift, one of us will need to fetch at the lobby if the others decided to go out separately.

Upon entering the apartment, we were taken aback by the damp weird smell coming from the kitchen & toilet. There were tiny flies coming from those damp places & it will get attracted to food items whenever we eat at the living/dining room.

Cleanliness were really poor. Floor felt dusty & sticky like it has not been mopped for a very long time. Even the broom & dustpan is dirty like it has not been washed before! The bottom of the broom was all black & dirty, like how do you expect to sweep with that kind of broom?! With that kind of sticky floor, It will just make the floor more dirty. No point but to ignore the floor part. Ceiling fan is worst, I believe it has not been cleaned for a very long time. There is a very thick dust on it, even on top of the wardrobe.

The curtain rod in 1 of the bedroom was a safety hazard. The rod was broken into two pieces but the management didn’t even make an effort to replace it, they just leave it as that & waiting for it to fall on people’s head.

Basic hygiene items like dental kit weren’t provided. Well thats fine, we can just buy but then at least make sure the toilet light is working.

To top it all off, there is bedbugs on the mattress! Due to that, most of us couldn’t sleep & some have to resort to lying on the cold hard floor to rest as we were left with no choice as it was already past midnight. Thank God it was just a night stay. The next morning we checked the walls, there were some dirty specks that look like blood stains from bedbugs being squashed.

Overall we wouldn’t recommend staying there. Like some might say, macam blindbox kinda apartment. Sometimes okay, sometimes not. Best is to avoid! Only good side is its convenient to access to the mall, other than that we find the aura surrounding the apartment isn’t “good” too.

We have made a feedback to the management but we only received automated reply. It just shows they don’t bother to look after the apartment or keen on rectifying the issues. Its gonna be our first & the last time staying there, don’t be deceived by the photos & good reviews. Book at...

I was happy with everything.. Would be complete if (1) there is a hanging holder in the toilet, maybe behind the toilet door and the toilet wall and also at individual room so that once we wash our clothes we can hang it to air it with the provided washer/dryer machine and hanger.. (2) The dish washing soap is good to change every 2-3weeks if the occupancy rate is high as the current dish washing soap has a smell.. (3) Hopefully any fully proper cover shoe/ boot (flat base sole/tactical) should be allow for gym weight lifting beside only sport/track shoe as I believe most guest are wearing full cover sneaker shoe and boot unless they are staying for more than 5days than they should be bringing more than 1 footwear.. Of course slipper, high heel, open shoe (Crocs), scandal should not be allow in the gym.....

Booked an apartment almost 1100sq ft with 3 rooms, 2 bath. Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. We consisted of 2 family with total 9 persons.

The operator kept the property very tidy and clean. Provided towels and basic toiletries. Kitchen is well equipped with electrical stove and hoop.

Collection and surrendering of keys are simple and easy. No hassle. If only the check out time set at 12pm will be much better. Checking out at 11am is rushing.

The closeness to Paradigm Mall is one main benefit. You can walk across to it. Surrounding have convenient shop and restaurants. I would strongly recommend to go across to TW Food Court, the closest big food court around. Plenty of choices and amble parking.

The swimming pool is nice. Also have jacuzzi pool and sauna. Gym and game room as well.
