Decent food with generous portion at reasonable pricing! Have always loved malaysia bak kut teh as they have the option to add other stuff in. Ordered the bak kut teh for 1 and added several extra items in and was surprised by the huge portion as the other shop we always go serves smaller portions. Pricing is similar and thus we find it super value for money when we pay the same but get more food! Added on the pig trotters and it came a huge serving too! There's a good mixture of fatty and lean meat and it's super tender. Well braised and not too salty. Only down side is the dough fritters is not as crispy as i would like it to be. Otherwise it'll be perfect. There's a little cafe beside that serves really decent coffee and desserts so do give them a try too! You can opt to sit in the cafe...

Ingredients that we ordered to be added into our bkt was short changed but ok close one eye it’s common for them to do all this. B.U.T We found TWO COCKROACHES in the lettuce and told the lady boss during check out. Mind you We didn’t even show her or make a scene but she’s like “ YOU EAT UNTIL FINISH ALR THEN ONLY FOUND THE INSECT?” If we’re here to ask for a refund (RM8 lettuce) or discount or rather a free meal, I would have jolly well create a big scene (Karen this whole incident) since it’s not one but it’s TWO not so baby cockroaches but where’s the etiquette seriously …

Sadly this regular comfort spot of ours disappoint us today. Price increased the standard dropped like crazy??? Hygiene...
