27 September 2024 Friday I found this place thanks to Johor Kaki Blog. This Sin Been Hiang Chicken Rice is found in Agape Food Court. Google that location and you’ll find this place.
Love this chicken rice - tender yet firm, splashed with a little sesame oil. The rice is delicately flavoured, but the soup was bland, but this is perfect to clear the palate, to taste the chicken all over again.
The chilli sauce is delicious, but too spicy for me (I don’t tolerate spice very well) and relied more on soy sauce to enhance the flavour of the meat. Ordered chicken liver too, it tasted a little gamey to me but it was reasonably creamy. Drowned the gamey taste with soy sauce & chilli.
A lower quarter of white chicken with 1 liver and a plate of rice, cost RM33. It IS pricey but it is well worth it. Boss man may speak loudly, but he’s quite jovial really, probably hard of hearing.
Parking may be a little bit of a nightmare but you can park on the roads behind the kopitiam. Friday...

Overall food was good. However, I think 3 things can be improved. To be able to pay using touch and go, the chicken to be cut debone when served, and the soup to have more ingredients in it like soup nuts, or chicken feet or Vege or even just garnishing.
