Warung has so many options of kari/gulai Ayam/ikan, snacks/kuih, etc.
Atmosphere: 1🌟 This Warung has better proper shop than just wooden house that looks like it will fall down with sudden big wind. However, cleanliness is a problem here as the tables are like stone tables and it does feels not very clean/hard to clean unless they do scrubbing weekly. Main problem is the place sometimes has cats hence people drop food or somehow the food is not properly clean as it looks like it's in the floor for sometime. This need daily cleaning which likely not happening. The place doesn't have a lot of fans but sometimes cooling breeze helps but as the place is sort of infested with ants that crawls on the table. Also, there's flies and insects biting (not sure mosquitoes or what) so it's not a comfy place.
Snacks: Karipap 2.75🌟, Pulut Kelapa 3.25🌟, Nasi Bean 3.25🌟, Cucur Udang 3.25🌟, Keropok Lekor (Thick) 3.5🌟 Karipap is cold and very soft already but flavour is not too bad actually (nice curry flavour). I think the 2nd one (brown colour) is Pulut something, it's sweet and flavour quite strong (I feel it's Gula Melaka and Kelapa) and still warm. The last one forgot the name (white colour) but it's rice with some beans, also quite nice and hot (just came out not long I think). Cucur Udang is decent, the prawn is medium small which is rare. The best thing here is the sauce, very nice, sweet and spicy. Keropok Lekor Thick is a very chewy and strong fish flavour.
Drinks Teh Ais 3.5🌟 Kurang Manis and it's still plenty sweet, must order less sweet here (unless they forgot). However the taste is good, I like it though.
Drinks: Ais Kosong

Read moreVisited the place at night and regretted it. The staff were arrogant and weird. None of them could cook (in fact i was told earlier that hot food would be available after 8 pm). I waited and the staff mengumpat in front of me & said i'd been there for an hour already. When the clock showed 8 pm, the same staff surprisingly told me nobody can cook. They should at least produce a decent drink to customer. The milk tea was extremely sweet so I informed the guy at the counter. Surprisingly, the guy with serban just couldn't wait to see me leave the place. Before that, he mocked and made fun of my feedback when I'd actually told them in a proper manner. Maybe they thought they were 'ahli syurga' so can easily look down on others who is in their eyes look like 'ahli neraka'. Nevermind, this ahli neraka will never step foot again at the warung. Nevertheless, it is highly recommended to go during lunch hour as the authentic Kelantanese food was awesome and the staff were friendly...
Read moreGrilled kembong really quite special and tasty and is easily the best dish here. Warm and nice.
For the other dishes... Nothing really special the usual Malay stall lemak tapioca leaf / nangka / chicken curry...
Also not sure why these other dishes were not hot ... Not even like warm... Not sure why at 9am in the morning....but still tasty and fresh... Minor gripe here..
But overall still a pleasant place with friendly and smiley staff (speaking some Malay dialect I can't quite catch) and a pleasure to dine here.
Will come back specifically for the grilled kembong.
Side note : the Lekor is surprisingly legit. Tastier than those I tried in Kelantan / Terenggan - lots of meat and can't quite taste any filler. Real good on its own ... Don't need the dipping sauce to enjoy.
Lots of grannies at the back room preparing the food.... Years of Experience... Shows...
