I am a Chinese Singaporean catholic. I was in jb, for some reason I wasn't able to attend the Sunday English Mass so I attended the indian mass instead. For catholic daily mass readings were universal, so I don't see any different as my purpose is to worship God and we are all God children. After the lord prayer the priest invited us to give each other the sign of peace. As usual I wished the people in the front, side by side and the back, only one wished me from the front pew and everyone ignored me like I was invisible while they wished among themselves. I believe if the lady in the front pew had known the one sitting behind was a Chinese she will not have wished me. Aren't we supposed to love each other? I was very shocked to know most of them disliked Chinese. It was a culture shock to me. Never have i experience this in Singapore Catholic church. So I prayed for them that one day they will have unity and follow what Jesus teach to love one another as he have loved us. I hope the rev priest over there will do something about this devision of their church. I believe our blessed mother wanted me to give this review because she wants everyone to love each other. Took a quiet stroll with my hooman to the Church of the Immaculate Conceptionāa place of such stillness, even my usually twitchy tail slowed to a peaceful wag. The air? Calm. The energy? Sacred. Perfect for those silent moments where you just sit, breathe, and wait for that gentle whisper of God to stir your heart. šāØ
My mummy closed her eyes in deep thought⦠while I closed mine and dreamed of divine biscuits from above. š¶
But alasāfour-legged beings like me arenāt exactly on the guest list. š Something about sacred spaces and muddy paws not mixing well. I get it. But still⦠a tiny prayer corner for us fur angels wouldnāt hurt, right?
So if youāre visiting, do take your time to just be still, and maybeājust maybeāyouāll hear that voice that speaks when everything else goes quiet.
Iāll be waiting outside⦠ears perked, soul open. š¾

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm quite dissatisfied with the way the church parking management is handling things. Weāre paying RM100 per month for parking, yet from 16th to 22nd, they suddenly closed off the parking area without any alternative arrangements. This means all of us who are paying for monthly parking are unable to park there and have had to incur additional parking costs elsewhere for those five days. Weāre disappointed that the church management made such a decision unilaterally, without offering any solution to the paying tenants. If they plan to close the parking space, they should at least provide a temporary alternative or pro-rate the monthly fee to reflect the days we couldnāt access the facility. Itās frustrating to pay for a service weāre not able to use, especially when no communication or compensation has...
