Madurai curry house — Restaurant in Klang Municipal Council

In the beginning,when they newly opened,obviously their aim was to serve the best to the customers..but lately, everything has gone down the drain, from the quality of the food to their service to the waiters and whoever in charge..

Our experience dining in for dinner today..ordered very clearly mee goreng not spicy as it was for my toddler...they brought a plate of spicy mee goreng..my husband ordered nasi lemak...waited for 15 minutes,no sign of the nasi lemak..we asked the waiter and that was when he started putting the nasi lemak on the plate..they brought a plate of nasi lemak with some stale anchovies...while eating the owner came to our table to ask if everything was ok...my husband informed him about the anchovies..the complaint was conveniently pushed to the worker by saying "please check the nasi lemak".. in which the waiter came to us asking what was the issue..with a very arrogant face and tone he replied us, "it was freshly fried..do u want me to replace to a new nasi lemak?" we were baffled with his answer and his so called brilliant solution! not even an apology. We are not stupid or we are not eating anchovies for the first time! Have some common sense and a sense of responsibility about the food you are serving!

Another incident happened some time back where my mom n sister were overcharged for 2 vegetables they did not eat or ask for..the waiter argued loudly and insisted that the 2 vegetables were taken..of course my mom and sis did not give in as they did not cheat..n he eventually agreed..

Treat your customers with respect,take our complaints as a point to improve..don't treat us as if we are eating for free!

Anyway, this would be our last time...

Myself went to this restaurant with my wife on 11.5.2023 @ Thursday at 9.15 pm and VERY DISSAPOINTED with their service , since wait almost 15 minutes , there are no any of the employee attend us to take order . I understand , this is the new restaurant with limited employee so we just left. The staffs saw us when left the restaurant but no any apologize from them.

This scenario was repeated today , 13th May 2023 @ Saturday at 10.15am, which I went with my family to have breakfast , none of the staff came to take order. The shameful issue is , they are know that , we are waiting to give order, but they just don’t care by focusing the current customer even no any apologize.

Im staying in Klang and this restaurant is very close to me . Firstly , I was so excited to dine this restaurant since its open on last week. BUT really upset and regret now. Finally im understand that, if there are numbers of customer is high , there are no respect . I wont go here anymore , better go for roadside stalls, where they know the value of...

We got to know about Madurai Curry House from a friend and decided to try it out. There were 5 of us and 2 had chicken biryani, 1 had banana leaf set and my 2 youngest kids had ala carte dishes. It was totally a very satisfying meal and we were not at all disappointed. The biryani was very moist and flavorful. The same goes for the chicken and mutton dishes. Even the Warm Lemon Tea and Madurai fresh milk coffee were really good. Service was good with friendly staff and prompt response. Even the owner was very friendly.
