The dignified Bangunan Sultan Suleiman was built in 1910 for the Klang district office. It housed the Land Office, the Town Board & the Public Works Department (PWD). from 1973 to 1985, it was the police contingent building. The Klang Town Council undertook substantial conservation of the building in 1987. Twin columns of the Tuscan Order on low plinths distinguish the public façades with groups of 3 strengthening the corners visually. Balcony balusters are typical vase-shaped designs. Further shading is provided by wooden louvres on the verandahs. The building is set back from Jalan Setesen & faces an open landscaped garden which gives it a suitably grand setting.
