Heard a lot about this place and decided to try it out, and it turned out to be as good as what other people say! It is really one of the Hakka restaurants with 古早味 (traditional flavor) with very homey food. Another good thing about this place is that they offer different portions, from small to large, with very reasonable prices.
Another thing to note is the service. At first, I was skeptical of their service because usually restaurants with many years of history and good food will have a funky attitude, but this place is super friendly! We were welcomed by very friendly staff with big smiles, and it made me feel so good being a customer here.
I like their chai boey and pepper pork stomach soup the most! Their chai boey is so flavorful, and the broth is thick with just the right amount of sourness; it's super good to eat with rice. Their pig stomach soup had a very good kick because of the pepper, but it wasn't too overpowering like some that only taste the pepper.
Next are their signature pai guat and pork meatball. Both have their own distinctive taste and are well-marinated, but one downside for the ribs is that there are small bones in the meat that make it very difficult to eat. But that is just a tiny complaint from me.
We ordered 2 drinks, 1 rice, 1 chai boey, 1 pai guat, 3 meatballs, 1 pig stomach soup, and 2 bak zhang, and it only costs RM48! Super affordable that I don't think you can get this price anywhere.
Overall, we enjoyed the food so much that we wouldn't mind coming back even though...

Now prices are slightly above average but reasonable and worth it. It was about RM38 for two pax but the dishes were for four pax. Service very quick. Owner aunty extremely friendly. Portion look small yet filling. Parking easy. Corner lot shop right infront old Delta tuition centre.
I come here for two reasons. That tangy chilli and signature Paikut ❤️
PAIKUT PORK RIB RM7- soft & juicy, soaked rib, sweet meat. Probably glazed with honey. The best 🔥🔥🔥
ROASTED CHICKEN RM7- Delicate classic soft chicken.
STEAM CHICKEN (Ayam Putih) RM7 - Heavenly good and aromatic. Chicken so tender topped with ginger sauce/paste. Must try 🔥
PORK MEATBALL RM1.50 each- Didn't look pleasing at first, but tasted good. Worth trying.
BEAN SPROUT RM3- Classic one. Match it with steam chicken and a spoonful rice topped with caramel sauce.
THAI CHILLI TOFU RM2 (Image not added) - Freshly fried hot tofu topped with diluted Thai chilli sauce. Tofu taste fresh and not sour. Cheap yet filling add on to savour your dishes. 🔥
TANGY CHILLI - I keep refilling like nobody's business ! Not spicy. The chilli's in the sauce are all edible and it doesn't sting. The best 🔥🔥🔥
Hot CHAM (Big) + Hot TEH TARIK...
Read moreSo the pork rib this place are selling is actually like chicken rice style, meaning, you can order the pork rib rice, and it'll service with margarine rice(oil rice), cucumber slice, pork rib and sauces. But I believe you can also order in dishes style rather than what I'm getting. They do also have other dishes like Asam fish, toufu and more, but I actually just drop by for a take away.
Now the rice is margarine/plantar rice, our typical chicken rice rice, but is cooked well, not too hard. It also come with some dark sky sauce on it, people around here really like to have dark soy sauce with their chicken rice. The pork rib is tasty and sweet but the meat is alittle dry, absolutely acceptable for me. They also provide a type of drenching sauce which is also sweet base, good for me that enjoy sweet flavour.😄 Oh, and I really enjoy their garlic chillies sauce, not overly spicy, but rich in lime sauce, a little diluted, but the taste is good.
Price wise, for pork rib rice it is at RM 7, there's an option where you can top up meat with extre RM 2, I did that, but I still think the meat is abit on the less side, well, I mean for RM 9, I think is...
