I want to ask Xin Ji, where is my chicken skin???? Where is it?

Xin Ji has this Claypot White Chicken Rice so I ordered a 3 person portion. It came with chicken breast only and that layer of chicken breast on top of the chicken rice were mostly missing the chicken skin. Just where is the chicken skin? The chicken rice was good but the chicken lacked that chicken taste. Sightly disappointed because it looked so good in the menu.

Next, it was the Claypot Wine Sausage Rice. Also looked very good in the menu. Again, the rice was adequately flavored with the sauce though I did not detect any hint of alcohol. I guess it was all dissipated during the cooking process. I didn't however enjoy the waxed sausage as I detected some rancidity.

So now there are two claypot rice with the rice tasting good but the meat was subpar.

Fortunately, the Japanese Black Garlic Spinach Soup was tasty and there was nothing weird about its taste. The superior soup has a hint of herbal taste to it so it was distinctively different from the other spinach in superior soup.

My brother wanted to try a stir fry dish as the menu has a lot to choose from. We settled on Fried Roast Pork with Spicy Minced Garlic. This has to be the best of the lot. The minced garlic imbued the roast pork with its fragrant flavor and the roast pork skin was crackling good. We didn't mind that each piece of roast pork had more fat than meat.

All in all it was just passable with Xin Ji with two hits and two misses. I also ordered 4 chicken rice balls. Let's just say they...

A special mention must go to Weihan, who truly made our visit memorable. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm elevated the entire experience. He went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect,Kudos to Weihan for his outstanding service!

Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this restaurant is a must-visit. It’s not just a meal — it’s an experience. We’ll definitely be coming back, and bringing friends next time too!

My first time here and had a very bad experience. Below are what I come across during my 40 minutes here saw a live cockroach walking at the floor of dining area. I did not take a video of it but I told the staff and she killed it in from of me 2 little bugs flying on top my food the kitchen partition has holes and can hear the staff eating and coughing in the kitchen the staff at the dining area talking to the staff eating at the kitchen from whr she stand (2 tables across) a staff knock on me with her back while I’m eating. She move backward without looking at behind This place has not many customers and I thought I can have a peaceful lunch but I’m wrong. Moreover price not cheap but taste not that good.
