At first sight, the decor was pleasing with minimalistic blue theme. If one sentence can summed up the overall dining experience, Id say its a fantastic place to have your sushi craving satisfied at a low budget akin to sushi mentai, sushi king etc.

Smoked duck slices had similar taste like beef bacon, except this was slightly thicker and the fatty texture and flavor just melted in my mouth. At just rm8, this is highly recommended to savor here.

The highlight of the review is the sashimi boat that served each 3 slices of salmon and tuna with a boatload of ice below. While the sashimi deserves a round of applause for its outstanding taste, the servings were quite thin especially the tuna slices.. besides being priced at rm23. The boatload of ice probably contributed to the high cost of the dish.

Maguro tuna with mayo and ebikko on top had nothing to shout out. The taste was just okay. But still cheap.

While the soft shell crab roll looks unappealing in the picture, don't let its appearance fool you at first glance. Serving for just rm 8, the crab serving had quite a generous portion, and the mixture of hidden ebikko, cucumber, crab was just perfectly delicious to be stuffed in your mouth. A little peeve is that the crab was probably cooked way before thus the tempura wasn't that...

I visited the restaurant today 10/06/2025 around 7:30 P.M. I ordered the teriyaki chicken set and sushi. The sushi was decent and arrived quickly. However, the teriyaki chicken was damn slow, we feedback to the waiters asking about our orders and did not get any feedback. After around 30minutes of waiting, we we're frustrated and dedicated to cancel the order with the counter. To my surprise, the male foreigner worker cashier were damn rude and had a very bad attitude and very poor customer service. He refused to cancel my order at 1st with a very rude talking tone, and even ask me isit the first time visiting their restaurant and said they're known for their waiting time. I really cannot accept this as I'm a regular customer here, I came to this restaurant every week with my family. The fact that the cashier staff have severely bad attitude and poor customer and absolutely no respect for their customer disappoint me. Lastly when i made payment and ask for my receipt, he directly throw away my receipt and ignore me. I asked for his name and he ignored me completely, and that time there no supervisor that I can talk to. Overall I'm really disappointed in this unacceptable poor quality of customer service by that staff and I can say that you guys just lost one...

It’s really affordable for the portion! Near Taman Mutiara MRT Great quality including the unagi

Have to credit fellow reviewer Daphne Lau for the recommendation.

Ordered tartar cutlet chicken set. Really sweet that they gave me hard boiled egg instead of more raw eggs according to my request. Otherwise I think they give the standard soft boiled which many would adore. Unagi sushi is fresh and good quality for that price.

Interior is quite typical Japanese shop just like Sushi Mentai lol. Anyways it’s underrated here. It’s pork free so more options for Muslims. Also, the price is cheap that both orders I had were about RM17. Definitely very worth it for the portion if you’re a moderate to large eater. Addon rice is +RM3 by the way. Adding chawanmushi or miso is about that price too. If you want the set promo please come on weekdays.

The only nitpick was probably the rice being a bit bland and I had nothing to mix with other than soy sauce and wasabi lol. Will definitely still come again and recommend...

Dined in at this restaurant for late lunch at around 130pm on 3/1/2023. Saw their lunch menu was quite attractive and with good deal. Give it a try. The restaurant was quite crowded but most of the diners already had their meals on the table. We ordered foods by scanning the QR code. The drinks came pretty quickly once we placed the order. However after waited for 30mins and many diners were gone yet our lunch were not served on the table. None of the waitress came to check if our foods were served. I shall say it was pretty disappointing for the service. After informing one of the staff, then only she went to the kitchen to inquire. The foods were ordered was pretty simple dishes from the lunch menu. It shouldn't be taken too long to serve. After few moments later then only our foods were served and the staff was apologetics. To be fair, the foods were quite delicious. I would give it a try again in future and hoping the service can be improved and more attentive.
