Buttery TTDI — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

So, I went here because I like the name. And I saw on the menu that they have an apple based pastry. I am a sucker for anything apple based. Somehow Malaysian bakeries don't like doing apple based stuff.

I ordered the apple crumble scone to go, although their signature one is cheese and chives or something. The apple crumble scone is so soft and delicious. I think I didn't eat it, I inhaled it. Know-know already finished.

The location is actually not that hard to park, unlike many places in TTDI. I was able to find parking pretty easily.

The service is sweet. The young man who attended to me was very polite, he answered my questions patiently and he asked if I wanted my scone to be heated up. It's just tiny things like this that makes a difference, in my opinion.

Next time, I want to come with my kids to celebrate their milestones here. The atmosphere is...

I ordered a Victoria Sandwich for my dog's birthday and received a message from Buttery saying that "our" Victoria Sandwich has strawberry jam, did I want strawberry jam in mine or only cream. Anyone familiar with cakes ought to know that the strawberry jam is what defines a Victoria Sandwich! That should have raised a red flag but I was too busy to think about it.

Today, the cake was delivered with white icing against a white background, with the icing done on plastic instead of on the cake. Perhaps next time, Buttery can try invisible icing, to make it more challenging for customers to read the message. In addition, both the cream and strawberry jam were so watery that the cake layers simply slid apart. This is easily the worst Victoria Sandwich I've ever had, and I will not be ordering anything more from Buttery. Extremely poor service,...

A very underrated cafe here in Taman tun. Visited them on a weekday during lunchtime. Not as busy as other cafe's (which is good). Plenty of seats available, 20-30pax at one seating.

Ordered cappuccino and salted caramel chocolate cake. Their coffee portions are huge ! (Or is it just me?) Taste wise good, nothing extraordinary. The salted caramel chocolate cake is TO DIE FOR! So moist and not too sweet to my liking.

My friends joined afterwards, they ordered latte, ice chocolate, sea salt brownies and poppy seed cake. I'm telling you, their cakes are so good! You need to try atleast one of them.

Overall, a very nice place to have a chat with friends. The food and drinks are good, very affordable! And friendly staffs. Definitely coming here again with my friends. 👍👍👍👍👍
