Alhamdulillah.. Allahumma Barik. Chagee has become our new favourite! We were a bit skeptical about this place as we didn’t know that if it’s Halal certified or not. After knowing that it’s halal we tried just a single flavour of their tea collections and that was White Peach Oolong Milk Tea (Hot one). From the first sip we fell in love with it. Its mild flavour and refreshing taste made it so soothing that we literally craved for it everyday after every meal of ours. Chagee’s branches are found almost everywhere in Kuala Lumpur. Glad to find this ‘Tea House’ which is undoing a hidden gem.

I love the straws they provide with their hot beverages. Chagee straws are considered "thin" because they are designed to be small and narrow, allowing for smaller sips of milk tea, which is the primary drink served at Chagee shops, this intention is to encourage customers to savor the flavor of their drink rather than gulp it down quickly. I often burn my mouth with hot beverages and this kind of straws are perfect for people like me so that we don’t burn our mouths. That effort deserves appreciation.

Never tried Chinese Tea before and this Chinese cafe became our must visit place in Malaysia for the White Peach Oolong Milk Tea. 🍃Halal Certified.

Long Waiting Time

I placed an order via Shopee Food at 1:00 PM, with an estimated pickup time of 1:20 PM. Unfortunately, I only received my order at 2:05 PM, which resulted in a significant delay and inconvenience.

While the male staff on-site were courteous and tried their best to manage the situation, it was clear that the outlet was severely understaffed. This issue is especially concerning during peak hours on weekends when a higher volume of orders is expected. It is recommended that the outlet provide better training and additional support for new or temporary staff to handle mass orders more efficiently.

Additionally, I considered cancelling my order due to the delay, but there was no clear cancellation option available after payment was made. This further added to the frustration.

Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend ordering directly through Shopee Food under similar circumstances unless improvements are made to order handling and...

I pre-ordered my drink via the app, specifying no ice, but when I arrived, I was disappointed to find that none of the staff attended to me despite their numbers. I called out to the staff member at the counter, but my request was overlooked, and my drink was served with a lot of ice. It would help if staff could pay more attention to app orders and customer requests. I hope to see improvements in the future, but this experience has made me hesitant to return to...
