My first time trying. For those not familiar it was a bit confusing for how the ordering system works. Self service for breads and pastries but need to ask few time because they have 2 station where the bread is inside and the tarts station outside..the flow isnt looking too great especially with long q and crowds..can see other 1st time patron like me feeling confused with the Q..Wanted to order cold drinks but was told they ran out of ice so can only order hot ..when i want to order latte was told drinks order on hold coz the machine break down..i mean..if u were to put cold drink on the menu should have be prepared to have ice on standby..and they operate as if its the first day of shop operating....since the croissant not available so order lemon meringue tart and devil chocolate..tart was too hard.. to even break..was confused i ordered tart or rocks..i think they over baked the shells..pls refer to my pic..dissapointed.. Staff service could have been improved..asked for cutleries but was told to get it myself at the counter..in a very rude way by the service staff-a guy didnt managed to get his name..i mean..when u bring over the cakes and tart, should have brought over the cutleries together..do you expect us to eat it with our bare hand..after sitting almost 30mins saw they started serving the cold/iced drink so i ask the waiter can i order cold drink now are the ice available now? The answer? tak boleh order banyak-i mean what is that supposed to mean?..so i gave up on my aim to order iced latte..left the shop after that coz im in need for a drink after the hard shelled meringue tart and decided to go zus and ordered my iced latte..what a journey to get caffein into my system! *One humble request for the owner..can you have a look on how Huckleberry q flow and food displayed and follow that templates?save us some confusion and dissapointment..its very...

Walked in time: 8:10 PM Placed order time: 8:17 PM (More or less)

We waited until 8:45 PM, and not even 1 drink we ordered was served on the table. We asked one of the waitresses, and then she only followed up the order with the kitchen. Finally, she came and told her that the order machine was malfunctioning and our order was lost in the queue. (But the table around us is fine, JUST MY ORDER WERE MESSED UP)

Then, the food was served in cold conditions, the spaghetti (The Fisherman’s clam aglio olio) was cold, especially the seafood, definitely cold and hard to chew. If is not a pre-cooked item, then I suppose should be cooked by put on the plate for quite a while. One thing to mention, the restaurant is not crowded yet other tables are having their order served accordingly, just my order is messed up. What an amazing coincidence. The Ultimate Baked Egg and Surf Bagel are fine, I wouldn’t comment too much, as I admitted my anger was over my mind at that moment, so, nothing tastes good.

Well, we did receive a mango tart as a token of apology, and the restaurant’s assistant manager apologised to us face to face, these are the things that impressed me, is good to admit your fault to the customers. At least I can feel they respect the customers. After we complained about the cold food served, they waived on that item to us as a goodwill gesture. Also, I have spotted the key time of my order is 8:47 PM on the receipt, so I think should be somebody “forgot” to key in the order instead of the ticket machine messed up my order.

Overall, they saved their reputation by apologising to me face to face, and they impressed me with the goodwill gesture although we’ve never asked for it. Anyway, thanks for the mango tart and the waiver. 🙂

Don't go here. The food is very mediocre and way too overpriced. I paid RM40 for an Aglio Olio pasta but the portion was too small, the meat was tough, and there was absolutely no flavour. Not to mention, every drink here costs RM16, the drinks are just soda water with sugar and artificial flavouring. My friend who came with me just wanted an ice water, but the miserable faced waitress just gave him a tiny cup, literally a cup slightly bigger than a shot glass with 2 ice cubes and a little bit of water.

But there was an Australian family at another table, the father ordered an ice water and then the same miserable waitress gave him a big glass alongside a spare bottle of water. From what I see, they treat their tourist customers. This is in Bukit Jalil, you can see many tourists in this mall, a lot of them go to Christine's not knowing how ridiculously overpriced it is, the white people don't know the power of currency in this country and will gladly play for this overpriced mediocre slop which is the only reason why this restaurant has survived for so long. Even though my friend and I came into the restaurant first, 2 Australian families got their food before us, they came much much later than we did.

In conclusion, the food is mediocre and overpriced, the drinks are just artificial soda water that cost RM16 each, and the restaurant tends to the tourists better.

Don't come here unless you want to pay RM70 for a...

Disappointed This Time – Won’t Be Returning The first time I dined at Christine Bakery, I remembered the food being so delicious that I decided to bring my friends over for a gathering dinner. Unfortunately, this time was a huge disappointment. The Bolognese was overly salty to the point that my friend couldn’t even finish it. As for the Clam Aglio Olio (RM35 before tax), it was a complete letdown. It came with just 7 clams, a bit of fish roe, and no garlic at all—hardly fitting the name “Aglio Olio.” I even requested it to be spicy, but it wasn’t, and when I confronted the female staff who took the order from me, she didn’t even apologised for the mistake. The three female staffs attitude was also unwelcoming, with a visibly unhappy demeanour even when I started to ask them regarding the last order time as I walked in around 9pm. Initially I thought I got this kind of food probably due to late hour and they wanted to wrap up for the day but after reading through several reviews, I found out that it has been some time that the aglio olio has been in this way. Considering the tasteless spaghetti and lack of value for the price, I’m sorry to say I won’t be returning. This experience was far from what I remembered and expected. Consistency and service need serious improvement. Anyway, I have attached the picture that I took when I first dine in vs today’s dinner for comparison.
