Went to their branches several times but today was highly unusual. I placed my order of dried wanton noodle and teh C kosong at 10.05 am. Not many tables at that time. However at 10.30am, I noticed that all other tables were already hvg their buns and drinks. So I asked the waitress to check my order of wanton noodles. She came back n told me the kitchen is still preparing it. After 10 mins , I went again to check and was told by the manager that the soup was not boiled yet. So I asked why the waitress didnt informed me earlier. At least, I can order something else or is it they r only serving buns b4 10.30am. Then I ordered a pineapple bun with a slab of butter to fill by hunger after half an hour wait. When the bun came, the butter was frozen. So, I told the waitress to warm the butter so I can spread it on the bun. She told me, I shld wait for the butter to melt n then spread on the bun. I insist thst she warm up the butter. She said she need to check with the supervisor and after that reluctantly took it back to warm the butter. Then, the noodles came after another 15 mins but the soup was NOT piping HOT either. May I suggest to the Senior Mgt of Nanyang Cafe, to review yr SOP or processes n give proper training to yr waitresses b4 they start serving customers.
After reading the comments here I realise they really have rude staff issue. Not sure how training is done here.
this staff kept messaging on her phone and I could not get her attention for the forgotten green chilli to go with my wantan noodle. so I walk up to her and politely asked for some green chilli. She got annoyed and gave me a look like I'm the annoying one disturbing her messaging on the phone. I was like never mind she is still young i forgive her.
while I was still enjoying my soup, she came over n clear everything else on the table without asking us if we are done or can she clear the table. It was so sudden and I didnt know how to react and quickly grab and hold on to my bowl of soup before she clear it away and instead of realising I'm not done yet, she just walk away with everything else.
It was then 9.50 and she came over and mumbled something in mandarin very fast and soft with a mask on and I can't hear what she said and she rolled her eyes and walk away leaving me there questioning my own existence and why did I ever came here in the first place.

We place some main dish for kids, but Before we finish our ordering for ourselves, waiter keeps coming and ask to take back their menu while we read it. Then food serve taste consider not bad. Then again come twice to ask clean up our table while we still munching our food. I fully understand you all wish customer leave ASAP so that can serve next customer, but now while we still eating. Not once but twice. So I just go easy let the waiter clean up my son's plate. Due to my son can't finish his Wan Tan , I dip them in my MALA SOUP BOWL,
The MOST MOST terrible experience I ever had in my life happened. Guess what? The waiter pick up all those used tissue throw into my not finished soup bowl.
Those kinds of service I never ever experience in my life. Even though after 2 days only I write this review, but still feel upset. Although they eventually compensate Wan Tan, but I you were me so you think still have any mood or appetite to enjoy it?
