Had a late lunch at this restaurant yesterday. Overall the food was ok but the toast with kaya and cold butter stood out. The air circulation in the restaurant felt stuffy however. I have no other complaints for the food but the staff's hygiene awareness is alarming.
As the staff took the food out from the kitchen counter, one of the staff sneezed. We couldn't see where our food were but we felt disgusted. He could've walked away and do his thing but he had to sneeze near our food. We considered to reject the food since it was both of our main courses that might be compromised but at the same time, we felt bad. So we just ate the food. After we got home we quickly took some medication, hoping to ward off the sickness before any symptoms arise.
I'm writing this not to fault or belittle your staff but I hope improvements can be made. Make it mandatory for your staff to wear face masks while working or teach them basic hygiene. I'm not a fussy person but ever since the pandemic, I'm sure most people would be worried...
Read moreI brought my family here for brunch last Saturday. It’s quite rare to find a restaurant that serves both noodles and porridge as well as breakfast combo ie roti bakar/butter toast and half boil egg. The restaurant was quite packed when we arrived. You Order food via QR code. However our orders came in a disorderly manner. Two sets of toasts and half boiled eggs were ordered but one set came first then the second set came so much later. But the toast came much later than the eggs. Our Noodles orders looked good. Bursting meatballs with yee mee and the other tomatoes based noodle soup. But the porridge was a disappointment. Both the mixed pork porridge and the three eggs porridge (salted egg, century egg and chicken egg) were not flavourful nor tasty. So overall our experience here is...
Read moreI don't know how you get a high rating. I saw your high rating that's why I pay this shop a visit to try the porridge. The porridge is overly salty and sweet at the same time with such expensive price. Promise 滑鸡(smooth chicken) in the menu but I end up getting chicken breast and only five small lump chicken pieces lesser in size than a nugget. Then the fried pork intestine is salty and sweet again. I also can taste aginomoto in the porridge. Please go check with old aunties how to cook proper old style porridge. I am not sure about the taste bud of the people now a days. I spent RM 29.50 just for two bowls of porridge. It's a disappointing experience. If the taste is good, price is no issue but you really need to revise your food quality and promise what you...
