After all the China-style hotpot, #Hometown steamboat gives you a local flavour. The Tom Yum soup, coupled with the milky fish head soup, is a good combination - mixing both soups in a bowl sort of toned down the spiciness of the Tom Yum soup. A set for two pax costs less than RM 50. And you can add other items from the menu based on your liking. I've eaten here for years, and I'd say it's a nice place for steamboat, with friendly staff members. Better get there early as this place tends to get packed by 7pm and you'd have families and groups of people staring at you trying to telepathically tell you to hurry finish your food so that they can get a table.
