First time here, excited to try the food as it says “Gurney Delight / Penang delight” , just nice wish to crave some Penang food
Ordered Penang must eat “ Cha kuay Teow”, Very salty and dry, the side dish such as “fish cake, lap cheong, sprouts(Taugeh) are too much, kuay teow only small portion , I would say 1/3 is kuay teow while 2/3 is the side dish. Out of 10, this dish I would only rate 3.5/10
Nasi Lemak Curry Rendang Rice is soggy wet, all rice sticky to the spoon. no anchovies which I think a bit out of expectation, curry chicken actually taste not bad and acceptable , just the chicken thigh a bit hard, feels overcooked or overnight, but taste is ok Rate - 4.5/10
