I ordered the Sourdough with baby spinach, but it had very little spinach, and the feta cheese was extremely dry and in cube form, which made it unpleasant to eat. This dish cost RM22 and came with a small side salad. My son ordered the Japanese omelette curry, and while the curry tasted good, the egg was just a thin fried piece, not a traditional Japanese omelette, which should be made with more than one egg and have a thick texture. The dish included only some potatoes and carrots in a small bowl, one thin piece of fried egg, and white rice, all priced at RM20 per plate. Compared to the nearby cafes, the price is too high for what you get, and the key issue is that the ingredients and taste are average, offering little value. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant — clean, bright, and with comfortable seating. However, points are deducted for the service. Service crew are foreign workers. The foreign worker who took my order showed no expression on his face, which made me wonder if he understood what I was saying. I requested ketchup but never received it; perhaps the waiter didn’t understand my request.

As for the food, the chicken chop was far too salty, though the salad was fresh. The fries was crunchy but rather dry. The Honey Earl Grey cake was disappointing — too sweet, the tea leaves in the sponge serves no purpose to the aroma, it did not elevate the flavor at all, instead created a strange, unappealing taste, suggest to remove the tea leave from the sponge. My hubby ordered teriyaki fried chicken sourdough sandwich but was served with an overnight fried chicken. We approached the waiter to share our disappointment over the food but the wait person came back after that with thumbs up sign, that really made my hubby upset. Eventually, fried teriyaki chicken was replaced but my hubby lost his appetite already. My secret pie came ok, nothing to shout about. Matcha latte was not good, loads of undissolved Matcha powder.
