heytea (Sri Petaling) — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Was there on a Friday afternoon, first time trying drinks from this Heytea. Overall, I liked their drinks. It's refreshing, trendy and tasted above average, we tried 3 drinks and cost about RM 55. However, this outlet in Sri Petaling really needed a better manager. The toilet is not cleaned despite them having a time sheet to clean the toilet. At 4 pm, none of the boxes were signed for Friday. The front glass door was so dirty with finger prints, I almost avoided touching it. And the service is undesirable .... I was there for almost 1.5 hours, 7 staff inside the counter, none of them came out to clean the tables, no one cleaned the dirty front door, no one cleaned the toilet. My 3 drinks were ordered one by one after I finished each one. All 3 times at the counter, I had very different customer experience. The first one was nice and polite and knew her work, she told me clearly that drink was going to take 15 mins to make because the mochi was long to prepare. The second time, the staff said nothing to me and I thought the drink would be ready within 5 mins, but it took another 20 mins. The 3rd time, it was normal. I just felt that they could improve on customer experience by providing better training. I super disliked the fact that all staff hover inside the counter to chit chat. HeyTea is absolutely amazing! The variety of drinks is fantastic. I love their creative options, and the flavours are always so refreshing and perfectly balanced. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere of the store makes it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. Highly recommend if you're a tea lover or just looking for something new...
