If Google review can give zero star, I will definitely rate zero! today is the second visit, we had very good experience for the first time, food is nice portion is big, me and my little girl can't finish their bulgogi set (come with stew soup). still thought to bring my family. hence, here I was today for second visit after my girl physio, since we can't finish the first time, I just ordered bulgogi set without stew soup. then they served side dishes as usual, my girl finished the fish cake and asked refill (she got it for the first visit), but this time they said "no refill" without explaining why when we asked why last time can refill... then the waiter told the lady boss and to my surprise, she came forward, not to apologise for her rude staff, but she herself being rude, asking me "what do you want? you only ordered 1 set and share food, why still ask for refill side dish? and you didn't order drinks and bring outside drink" (my girl drinking her mineral water that she brought from physio. And what worst, she didn't serve us the free drink that every table got, yet, still asked us why drink our own water). I replied, why last time I came can refill and this time not, I'm just comparing with my previous visit. She again replied rudely, "then last time I didn't check it!" I laughed and said, ok! Then she walked away!
this is really a terribly awful experience we had and she scared my girl to the max! will never...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at a Korean restaurant in Malaysia called Jin Jin Soo Ra, and it was a rare find that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for an authentic Korean culinary experience. The restaurant was filled with Korean patrons, a clear sign of its good taste.
The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the incredible appetisers. They were not only plentiful but also bursting with authentic Korean flavours. From kimchi to assorted banchan, each bite was a delightful journey through Korean cuisine.
The main dishes did not disappoint either, delivering that unmistakable Korean taste I had been craving. The bulgogi was tender and full of flavour, and the bibimbap was a work of art. The restaurant truly knows how to capture the essence of Korean cuisine.
I can confidently say that I'll be returning to this hidden gem again and again. It's not just a restaurant; it's a portal to Korea's culinary soul. If you're in Malaysia and seeking an authentic Korean dining experience, this place is an...
Read moreIt was my husband's first experience of Korean food. I love Korean food & have been to a few Korean restaurants. We chose this restaurant as it looked nice & was full of customers. We ordered from the set lunch menu ie beef and pork & squid dishes. The beef was as tough as old boots and so was the squid!! I mentioned this to the only English speaking guy who tried to tell me that he eats the beef dish regularly & it is a bit chewy but that it is how it is. He went to tell the chef about my complain & came back to report to me that they had changed suppliers hence the tough beef. No excuse about the very overcooked squid. I actually told him how to tenderise beef which he took on board as I am a cookery lecturer. We will not be going back to this restaurant again & will tell our friends too. The worst bit is after admitting that other customers also complained about the tough beef, they charged us the full price!! 2 set lunches with terrible tea for RM69.00 It really has put my husband off...
