Came with a local friend to this popular neighbourhood Bak Kut Teh to sample their menu and they did not disappoint! The traditional BKT was loaded with meat and mushrooms. Broth was mild and pleasant with herbal notes without being overpowering. The dry version stole the show with it's deep rich colour and flavour. However...the star of the meal was the ginger chicken which is exploding with flavour. In fact...every dish was cooked to absolute perfection. The boss lady was incredibly attentive and so friendly. Great to chat with and made it a perfect dining experience.
Just landed in KL and first meal was BKT! This restaurant is one of our friend's favorite so she suggested to come here again and they did not disappoint! Every dish was perfect and the star of the night this time as the braised pig's trotter! Their BKT broth is light and fragrant with a subtle herbal quality without being overbearing. They prepare their food with a lot of attention to detail even including packing up leftovers! They take good care to pack everything and even send you off with a little bit of extra rice, garlic and chili for your condiments so you can enjoy...
