If you come to Kuala Lumpur and you only get to eat one thing, this is it. There are a few things in life that are more delicious and simple. It’s self-service, so grab a plate and make your dip of Sambal and Dahl.
We stuffed our faces with six roti (which is, way more than two should be having), and literally just marinated in happiness. And the people are just amazingly humble and helpful. Despite not knowing Malay my wife and I were treated extremely well (It only makes us more determined to learn Bahasa Melayu and express our gratitude to the locals!)
Yes, this is a “soft” roti, and yes, crispy roti may be your preference. This one is more of a croissant in texture and that's fine by me. That said if you don’t like this place, you need to get a life, like, really.
