Quite a small pet cafe and food is pricey like a typical dog cafe range but can't comment on the taste as the food didn't arrive after an hour +/- of waiting. Place is clean but drinks are mediocre for the price.
Service: Friendly in their interaction but when prompted reminders for two fish and chips (the only food we ordered), we kept being told that it's being made or it's on its way.
After an hour +/- of waiting, I asked to cancel the order and they agreed to the cancellation and refund of the fish and chips order. I queried if they missed the order but I received two responses as below:
1st response from the man (could be the manager/ owner or staff) - We had an influx of orders suddenly. If this is truly the case, why other customers who came after me, have their food served and are either done or almost done eating? We rebuked as per the above and hence, I got a 2nd response from the waitress.
2nd response: The fryer takes a while to heat up. If this is the case, please put a note in your menu that Fish and Chips requires a minimum of 1 hour waiting time to manage expectations and inform your customers of that. Also, you should have informed us of this when we followed up on our order. At least let us know of the waiting time or ask if we want something else instead.
I would understand better if you give me a proper response such as we missed your order, we incorrectly queued your order or sorry the dish takes very long to prepare from the moment I followed up. Therefore, I want to pose this question back to the cafe based on the responses I received. Would you accept such responses from your supplier happily based on the scenario below.
Let's say the cafes nearby you order ingredients from the same supplier and everyone who orders after you, received their orders except for you. Then you followed up with the supplier and kept being told that it's on its way and that they're working on it. Finally, when you decide to cancel your order, you are first told that there was an influx of orders together with yours. However, when you tell them other cafes have received theirs despite ordering later, you are then told that the shipment for your particular order takes longer time to arrive actually because the delivery method is slow and usually takes time.
Would you say the answer provided by the supplier or the supplier is generally: a) dishonest or honestly lacking judgement on a delayed order b) disrespectful to your time c) poorly managed d) all...
Read moreA small pet-friendly and clean cafe, carpark is limited along the road. Participated in their pet portrait art class and gathering activity. There were lots of dogs and rabbits at the cafe. The cafe staff were friendly, helpful, and pet lovers themselves. The tutors were attentive and gave tips and guidance to the participants.
We had the buttermilk chicken bento, which was served in a metal bento box. The buttermilk sauce was nicely flavoured, but the portion was not big. I also ordered "Thicky", sweet potato loaves with turkey ham, scrambled eggs, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and chips on the side. The sandwich is quite filling. FYI, they serve breakfast and pastries all day.
They have some fancy soda drinks. We tried the "Rainforest," which was yuzu with matcha, and the "Flamingo," which was crushed watermelon with yoghurt drink. Both the drinks were refreshing.
There’s also a menu for your pets, which I saw the dogs enjoying very much. They are currently having Halloween activities to which you can bring your pets to meet new friends and enjoy the...
Read moreYah I'm not a pet owner but if I have a sudden craving of food and the casual affection of doggaroos you'd probably find me here. The food is decent but served in one of them reheatable tin, so I don't really want to question the freshness. The coffee is passable, but if you like your coffee it wouldn't be your first choice.
But this is a nice place if you want to get the casual lick on the hand by doggos and if you're into it, listening to dogs bark indoors to/at each other. Obviously, bring your doggle if you've got one, they've got a decent gated space for canine related...
